I love it .. especially the snow crabs
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH L&L SEAFOOD ON CARMEL DRIVE IN LAFAYETTE, LA!!! They ripped off several people on sacks of crawfish promising a product of large-medium mixed crawfish for $80/sack, and the crawfish were small. In addition, many crawfish were dead!!! I didn't want a full refund. I just wanted the right price for small-medium mixed crawfish, which was $55/sack. The owner said he couldn't refund any money. He said I should've brought them back on the same day. REALLY?? I told him I had pictures. He said it didn't matter. GOD DOES NOT LIKE WHEN PEOPLE DON'T DO RIGHT!!!
I just got ripped off over there they told me that large sack would be 33 to 35 pounds for $125 got home and they were medium at best and the sack was only 30 pounds
I have been in lafayette for 10 plus years and still looking for that place that boils crawfish like back home (NOLA). Well my search stops here. Awesome job guys loved them.
Highly over priced food at its finest. Shrimp and catfish should not be mushy. Also the oyster poboy has to be the worst around. If i could rate this place any lower I would. This place needs to be shut down.
I purchase a sack of crawfish from l & l on good Friday and i was not pleased with what i bought . Half of my sack was dead n they smelled even after 3 washes n after they were boiled and seasoned. I threw away more then i ate . My whole sack was were baby crawfish . I will never buy anymore crawfish from them again
Best crawfish & shrimp....not too forget the crabs took. :m:m:mmmmmh
If you want awesome crawfish seasoned just right, this is the place you have been looking for!
What a wonderful find this place was during our recent trip to Lafayette! Their seafood is incredible--fresh, fresh, fresh! We bought fresh shrimp, seasoned crabs, crawfish boudin, along with their special sauce which is not bottled, they make it and "cup" it up right there. While waiting for our crabs to cook--yes, they cook them to order, it was fun watching the jumpin' jack crawdaddy's being sorted by a seasoned pro--he knew exactly how to handle these lively crustaceans. I imagine those thick, rubber gloves were worth their weight in gold! We were stocking up on seafood before we left for home, then just had to go back an hour later for the best shrimp po-boys in Louisiana, I'm sure! Huge shrimp, encrusted in the crispiest batter I've had, tasted like they'd been in the Gulf that very morning! Kind and generous, this Mom and Daughter team makes you wish you lived in the neighborhood, in order to eat there every day! Already planning our next trip back to try more shrimp, crabs, and crawfish. Thanks, y'all!
