My step dad just bought a car from these guys that was on the "certified pre-owned lot" with a certified preowned sticker. He gets it on the highway and it's rattling his brains out. So he brings it back and they supposedly fix the issue. Brings it back on the road and it still rattles. Brings it back and they chew up his hubcaps on a brand new mercedes, then tell him he doesn't have a certified preowned even though the dang sticker is still onthe car! "The salesman messed up".
They didn't align the vehicle properly but put it on the lot as a certified preowned vehicle. He's flabbergasted. They then try to CHARGE him for the messed up work they didn't do the first two times. My mouth was agape as my mom was telling me this. Then they tried to SELL him a extended warranty.
He took it to another car place and had them look it over and the guys said it was ok, just not aligned properly. The guy at the tire shop tells him that Moss Motors is famous for that, he gets people in all the time that their service department messes up. Needless to say if you buy a new car you'll prolly be ok, but then at some point youll have to take it to their abysmal service department.
Just go the extra mile to batom rouge and avoid this dishonorable company

If I could give negative five stars I would. Moss motors treats their customers horribly and they could care less about you after your warranty is up. Do not buy tires from them becuase they do not offer roadside hazard. I have bought numerous cars from Moss Motors and I will never step foot on their property again!!!
I cannot speak for the other reviewers, but I can tell you that the service personnel at Mercedes-Benz has always been excellent. Believe me, I have spent at least $2k-3k with them so far. Dan Delaney and Stacey Sams have helped me countless times. (Yes, I know them by name!) For example, I recently went in there for an oil change, and they worked me into their schedule even though I didn't have an appointment. I took my car somewhere else a good while ago because I thought Moss was a little expensive. These individuals, who I would like to name, literally destroyed my oil filter housing and didn't warranty the work. The people at Moss backed me up, going out of their way to provide documentation and back up my claims with the credit card company. I actually live in Texas now, and have lived in other places where the service is horrible, and this place is an EXAMPLE TO ALL DEALERSHIPS. I have even gone in there complaining quite a few times, and they have taken my bashing with utter grace and dignity. SERVICE personnel work very hard because no one wants to spend money on fixing their car, so please don't be swayed by other comments.
Also, my mother recently went in there to buy a Mercedes-Benz C300, and they were extremely flexible with her on her trade-in. I will say her circumstances were special, but it's nice to know that they DO NEGOTIATE unlike other dealerships.
Please, Please, Please do not buy a car from there. This was my first car I bought from them and I just knew I purchased the extended warranty on the car but they are stating that I didnt. They have no record of me purchasing it. What is so crazy is they asked me if I paid for it off of a side. So that was shady. Why would I not purchase extended warranty on an almost brand new car. It was my word against thiers. Horrible customer service. All men there and dont care about anything but getting the sale.
