Maison De Lafayette

A girl was just fired from the Maison de Lafayette tday for being pregnant. 

We had just found out on Saturday night that my fiance was pregnant,  Sunday morning she went to work and asked the nurse on duty if they could hold her nausea meds so that non of the residents would get a hold of them by mistake.  We the nurse asked what the prescription was for, my fiance told her it was for her morning sickness due to pregnancy and showed them the release forms with her diagnosis and prescription on it. They told her she had to go home until she could get documentation from her doctor on whether or not she needed to be on light duty or not. So we went back to the E R to get that documentation.  Upon arrival,  we were informed that only her personal doctor could make that designation and were directed to the free clinic in Lafayette. We called, and being a Sunday,  they werent open til Monday morning,  so we communicated all this to her boss, Mrs. Barb, at La Maison de Lafayette. Her boss asked her to keep her posted. We went to the free clinic Monday morning only to find out that we had to get an appointment,  so we did, their earliest being the next Wednesday morning, when we told this to my fiance,  Katelin Bossley's boss, Mrs. Barb of La Maison de Lafayette,  and asked if they could put her on light duty until the appointment just to be safe, suddenly Mrs. Barb needed to talk to Katelin,  but not through texts or over the phone. So Katelin went in and was told that she was being let go, but that they were going to write it down as though Katelin resigned "to help her resume", but this being Katelin's 4th job in her life had no idea that their "help" would disqualify her from any unemployment benefits, rights to sue, or anything else. The official reason for her termination according to Mrs. Barb was that Katelin was too slow doing her job, despite the fact the she had never been written up or coached previously in any form or fashion. This poor girl was fired because the miracle of life filled her belly.
