First, this listing doesn't include the new hours. Second, the lady that took my phone order was kind of rude. Third, she was so much in a rush to finish taking the order that she failed to mention curly fries are freaking seperate. When my husband got back down to go order curly fries, they locked the doors... like I said, this listing is incorrect. Had we known the ACTUAL hours, we would've ordered earlier. Very disappointed. I used to love Julien's. It's just not what it used to be.
The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and the owners are the most awesome people you can imagine!
There's not much to tell. The food was mediocre, the service was mediocre, the atmosphere...you got it, mediocre. If you're just stopping by for something quick besides fastfood, then this is the place to go.
The best thing about this restaurant is the breakfast. it really is delicious but you'll pay for it. I'm not a fan of the lunch or dinner food.
We have eaten here twice in the past and the food was excellent and reasonable priced. Gumbo and shrimp po-boy were out of this world. Will be visiting the area once again from Wisconsin and will stop in two more times to feast on their food.
The crawfish bisque was too sweet and the crawfish was so teeny tiny that you needed a magnifying glass to see them. Brought wrong food and I did not get mine until the rest of the family were through. My husband's seafood gumbo was too salty and he only took a few bites. They did not bring any potato salad or bread as Prejean's does with their gumbo and bisque. The kids would not eat their chicken strips for they were too hard. Extremely cold and we had to go get our jackets from the car and my grandson wore his coat with the hood up for he said his ears were freezing. Very unpleasant night. Told the greeter and head waitress in front that they needed to take their chefs to Prejean's in Lafayette where they could learn to cook.
Would not recommend Randol's Cajuan Restaurant, we didn't care for the food at all, but we did enjoy the live music.
They have went downhill. Used to be fantastic!! But, now theyvarw overpriced and not to great.
My husband and I were visiting the area recently from North Carolina and while having lunch there we witnessed the owner mistreat a woman who was trying to join her family for lunch. His behavior was absolutely beyond rude.I know it was busy that day but as they say " If you can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen'' I know we wont go back.
GREAT atmosphere, friendly staff and home style Cajun cooking. it's nice to come back home for a visit.
