I'd leave a 0 star if I could, I went in to get my suit sleeves altered, and so I went through the standard procedure. Found out it was 50 dollars, competitors in Lafayette only charged 25 MAX. Anyways, I paid, and as I was walking out another one of his customer came in to pick up his jeans Mario said he was working on it rn, but had to stop because he was handling a customer(myself) well... according to other customer, his order was placed a week a ago... worried for my own suit, because i need the suit for a wedding, I asked for a refund. And that's when we got into a disagreement: he said he's going to charge me $20 dollars because I wasted his time... and so I replied, "you performed no services, why are you charging me money and not giving me a full refund?" "Because you're wasting my time."After 30 minutes he reluctantly says he'll ONLY take 10....Anyways long story short. I got my money back after Mario wasted an hour of my time, because he didn't want to issue me a full refund, for a service he did not perform.
If I could I would leave no stars there’s a man running the business walking around in his bare feet gross 😑 he looked at my little girl in an inappropriate manner! The alterations were so so Kim would be fine if she did not have that guy around besides she’s not even affiliated with the BBB also doing it out of her home while eating food around the clothing I would suggest you go somewhere else before you go there! Good Luck!
I dont know what the other lady is talking about. I have been a customer for years and would never bring my clothing else where. Always polite honest and top notch work. Never had any issue with dishonesty about pricing. Highly recommend these ladies!
Great seamstress. She will let you know if she is running behind before you drop your clothes off. Does a great job. Flexible.
Do NOT bring your clothes here! I paid Mario $135 to tailor 5 skirts & he repeatedly lies about when they will be ready & pushes the date back over & over again. I have been waiting for 3 months to get my last skirt from him which is still not ready. When I call or stop by he is full of excuses as to why it's not ready & at this point I feel like I've lost out on my skirt & the money I paid him to tailor it. I've asked for a refund & he will not give me one.
I was practically raised in my family's dry cleaners wherein worked the finest seamstress I'd ever encountered my grandmother) until I found this place. The quality of their work is exceptional. I haven't needed their services often but when I have both the alterations and the cleaning services were of the best quality. I highly recommend them.
By far the worst experience I've ever had in any type of public environment. Sandcastle got to be the rudest most unprofessional person I've came across thus far. Be sure you park in the correct parking spot or else she will come after you.
Bait and switched. I took my son in to have two pair of corduroy pants hemmed. He tried them on and then the seamstress pinned them. She wrote my ticket, but didn't write a price. I asked. She said 7.50 each, so I wrote it on my portion of the ticket. When I picked them up she had written 20.00 plus tax on her portion of the ticket. When I asked why, she said this was due to the fabric. Now mind you, I'd just had jeans hemmed here for 7.50. I didn't argue because I just wanted to go. They don't take cards so I began to write a check. The woman said she couldn't take it because it doesn't have my address on it. I offer my drivers license, which does, and she begins to copy ALL of my information onto the check. Needless to say, we argued about the need for this. I finally gave her the check as she wanted it, but will never return. If you use this business, at least now you know. Watch your tickets and pay in cash.
Best in Town! The owner is very friendly and alway alter to perfection.
