I have been watching the reviews of this company. I must say that most of the reviews are not good and if you followed them you are sure to get bad service.

I however have used this company and have not been treated poorly as so many reviews claim to have been. I did have to wait a little longer than I was told it would be. As I did please keep in mind that this Company has been in business for a number of years from my understanding. The drivers are going into a call blind and things may take longer than one might think. Like I said I used Jim's Garage just last week for towing. My driver treated me with the upmost respect and was careful with the handling of my vehicle. I will remind you that I did have to wait longer for the truck than I was told, but I'm not a mechanic so I needed them..

One of my friends shared a comment that she saw on facebook involving Jim's Garage so I felt I would post it here. Because if you are going to take the time to beat a business up, you should also take the time to pat them on the back.

I want to give a shout out to Jims Garage! I stopped to change a tire for a woman in I65 heading to Louisville from Chicago. The frame was rusted so bad in a 2008 Buick that I could not jack it up. I called Jim's Garage to help jack it up and after that the spare tire that was with the vehicle was for a Ford and would not fit. She could not afford a tire and the tow and was devastated.
I called Cliff at Jims and told them to bill the tow to me so she could pay for the tire but they insisted on taking care of the bill themselves!

Where to begin...ah! I find it ironic that the LPD uses such swindlers as their primary towing company. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional, the fees are astronomical and entirely criminal. Say you wreck and the vehical is towed by them @ 10pm Sunday night and you pick it up before 5pm on Monday they still charge for 2 days of storage and although they have already technically charged you for Tuesday,they still add another storage fee come Tuesday morning! That's correct! You are being charged for 3 days storage before your two days are even up! If I could give 0 stars, I certainly would! Since when is it legal to be charged for an unprovided service?! What a bunch of scoundrels...

Towed my truck and the man was rude, unprofessional and said he charges an extra $90 for every 30 minutes it takes for him to get paid. Call somewhere else to get service- anywhere would have to be better than this man that represents his company.
