If you want to avoid entering the hosting hell dimension, here are 10 potential entertaining glitches, and how to avoid them.
I came in yesterday for a birthday party, not knowing that there was no air conditioning. I asked the server how long has it been broken. Said since last week. It was a miserable hot experience. As I was coming out of the women's restroom, I saw a fan from the ceiling on the floor. I stood there watching. The manager could only say that I'm sorry. But that was it. The server was okay. The manager was incompetent, not knowing how to handle a fan falling almost on someone.Having a daughter who is a GM at another restaurant said all of this falls on the GM, whomever that is.The place is very chaotic, no direction. I saw only one manager on the floor. I'm embarrassed for this restaurant after years of going there.
Food is home made and really good. Staff is friendly. Thumbs up! Really cool layout. Nice outdoor patio
We were traveling to indianapolis and decided to go to Don Palo's, since the one in Merrillville closed. We were not disappointed . The food was great and Shawn, our server, was excellent!
Just have to say that the fact I had to wait 10 minutes to get a drink is insane...the waiters and waitresses need to focus a little better and it may be a good experience
For some really good Mexican food! I would suggest you visit Taco Rico! Any type of Mexican food you can think of they have! And of course all of the free chips and salsa that you can eat!
As a displaced Texas, I can say that La Fiesta has the best guacamole around. The owner Maria waits on tables and will have the kitchen cook to order. The flan is to die for...we always bring home extra for later. the chips and salsa are best in the area. Now, with the new decor and beer available La Fiesta is even more enjoyable. Dress casual but expect the best quality in food and reasonable prices.
My three year old is gluten intolerant, my husband hard to please, and my children are all three very active. The people there are always helpful and nice, though, with meals that satisfy all of us for a good price and huge portions. I can't get enough of the place, and we all adore the decor!
The food is good but they mess up my order been there three times and each time its been wrong or they have forgotten something, like silverware, or a drink.
