Greg and his team have been servicing my car for over 28 years! Our family recently purchased a used BMW and Greg made sure to thoroughly assess the engine with a fine-tooth comb. My car is something that I take pride in, and I know that it is in good hands with Greg and his team, no matter how big or small the service. My husband asked detailed questions about the engine to the original owner's mechanic, and they didn't know the answers. We took the car to Greg and he always gives his honest opinion, and in my experience has proven to be the most knowledgable on high-end german cars. I honestly would never consider taking my car anywhere else.

Autowerks East is the real deal!

Mr Kristopher Chavez, or should I call you Chris Culhane, you are funny! Autowerks East has worked on my vehicles (1 Mercedes, and 2 Porsche's) since 2006, and they are a fabulous shop. You are nothing but a con-artist trying to get free repairs from a small local business like AutoWerks East that supports 5 families with 11 children. Locals beware! From what I understand, your bill in out of pocket parts alone, was $5,000 plus no less than 50 hours of labor- your car was towed-in and not running from Flatirons Land Rover in Superior, who advised you that you needed a $29,000 engine. You "drove" your car away after approving repairs and the work was completed; there were numerous phone calls (1.5 total documented hours of conversation prior to repairs as you were supposedly in Europe- ha! ) and, you ultimately did not pay your bill. After not providing proof of your claim that you needed further work on your car, a judge recently has ruled that you owe Autowerks East $8,500 plus legal fees. This is what a Google search on "you" reveals about you and your approach to hard working people; you should be ashamed of yourself stealing from little old ladies and small businesses.

I dropped my Audi A8 off Autowerks East the day after Labor Day with a list of 8 items that needed fixed (mostly warning lights and electrical problems) and 2 service items (change the oil and plugs). It took repeated phone calls from me to get any updates on the repair status, and final after over 2 weeks they said I could pick it up.
Out of the 10 items on my initial list they managed to change the oil, change the spark plugs, and replace a wire harness that was causing an oil level sensor warning. So they managed to fix 3 out of my 10 items and it “only” took 2 weeks. On my drive away from their shop back home, I received 2 warnings which were the exact warnings I asked them to repair. Things got worse when I tried to pop the trunk which they were supposed to repair. It didn’t work even though they charged me over $400 to fix it.
Today I went back, and Greg wouldn’t even walk outside and look at the trunk problem. He just said I needed to drop my car off again and he had no idea how long it would take to repair the trunk. I asked if they tested the trunk after they “repaired” it, and Greg said it stayed open after they replaced the struts. Actually, it stayed open BEFORE they replaced the struts too, the problem is that it wouldn’t open or close. They “repaired it” and didn’t even push the button inside the car to see if it opened? Or push the button on the inside of the trunk to see if it closed? In my humble opinion they are totally incompetent and incredibly frustrating to try to work with. I’m cutting my losses and will never return. I would give them 0 starts, but that isn’t an option.
