I have had confirmation (by way of tracking #'s) for my husband and myself on 2 separate items that stated delivered 2 days ago. In my postal box no key for large box AND no note stating to pick up at post office. After going to Lady Lake Post Office and being told by supervisor that she couldn't locate them for us and check our box again today for the 3rd time! Told us they were very busy and if we went back to our postal bank (in the villages) now, we might catch the "postal worker" there to ask ourselves. We did go and meet the "postal worker" with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth, who said our packages were in on the floor inside for the past 2 days, and then questioned the frequency of picking up our mail. SO, 1. Why wasn't a slip put in our box if oversized bins full?2. When did the USPS (including main Lady Lake supervisor) become soooo unprofessional looking and acting. As to have a "not my problem" attitude, and the "substitute" carrier show up with cigarette hanging off her lip with a poor attitude much less any attitude as to the frequency with which I pick up my mail. Let me be clear, we have had this happen several times before. This has never been an issue when our regular carrier "Julie" is working, but she deserves sometime off too. I'm venting due to the frustration that I already complained to the company that shipped my package and they have already needlessly sent a replacement. What if this was medication I we were waiting on? Or important documents? The USPS employees in Lady Lake Florida decides who gets they're mail today and who has to wait until they're ready to deliver it. Beware Christmas deliveries especially if you paid for certain shipping dates!
