amazing store!

So this is my first entry on yelp, but I feel I had to join just to explain the time I had. I am EXTREMELY surprised to see the reviews this place had. Maybe they just had a bad employee or they are under new management, but Jarrid provided me with the best customer service I've ever had in my entire life...and no im not exaggerating in the least bit. If you go in, ask for him. I am a beginner in the sport, tried going to 7 other bike shops in the area that had "good" reviews and some never even stopped eating their food to greet me. Jarrid set me and my buddy up with bikes, properly fitted us, made sure we knew the in's and outs of everything on the road bike, differences in them, geometry of riding, simply EVERYTHING. not to mention I got a 2013 bike for 499. So the prices are waaay cheaper than anything else I saw. You will not be dissatisfied if you go here and speak with him, I guarantee it and you will know what I mean when you get there.

I brought a bicycle part here, to be measured ---- as I not had the tool for measuring in my home. Once I came here to PBS La Mesa, the 1 of 3 personnel grabbed my part, and took it in the back (shop.) In the same --- that one not be assured that one's Original Part be the returned part. Of the same size. Once I re-installed the part, at home, it worked out. But still, PBS did it in the unethical manner.

rims

i took a set of back rims in to have the hubs swapped.

they charged me $85 for the job and it took them one day shy of a week to complete.

when i got the rims back i was VERY upset, they cut all the spokes and just left them dangling on the rim and the spare hub.

DO NOT GO HERE!!

this was the worse experience with any bicycle company I have ever had.

WHO LIKES THEIR TIME WASTED????

I am a disabled person I dont drive I bought a Town and Country Tricycle to help me get around. After I bought the Tricycle we noticed the chain was broken and needed to be replaced, so I was told by these so called "FRIENDLY PEOPLE" No worries go grab some lunch and come back in an hour and we'll have it ready for u. Well Lets see I went home had lunch my mom took a nap we made dinner we ate dinner and then came to the store to pick up the tricycle, just to find that it hadnt been touched. it took them 2 days and then three hours of me personally waiting in the store for them to fix the my tricycle. All I got were excuses like the mechanic went home early Im sorry but they have 3 or 4 mechanics there everyday. and all they do is fix bikes they want to sell instead of fixing the bikes of customers theyve all ready sold to.



WHO LIKES IT WHEN MANAGERS AND MECHANICS HANG UP ON DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS?????????



I brought home my tricycle after 2 days and nearly 3 hours after being told it would be ready in one hour after it was bought. the left fender was on incredibly crooked and missing a screw the other fender was lose and jamming the back tire and the Tricycle didn't steer straight, and I have no truck to bring it back with. so I call the mechanic and begin to tell him the situation and how unhappy I am with his work and how he wasted my time and what would be my options to resolving my problem. THE MECHANIC HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! So I call back and am very upset and demand to speak to the manager.... I again try to explain my situation and He too HANGS UP ON ME!!!!!



WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT????? THAT REALLY SAYS A LOT ABOUT THEM DOESNT IT????



I AM VERY VERY ANGRY AND DISSATISFIED AND IM CALLING THE CORPORATE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT U BUY YOUR BIKES SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!



THE PERFORMANCE BIKE ON LA MESA BLVD COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU!!!! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY!!!!! THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL THEMSELVES PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!
