My call was directed to a guy at some other location or office, and did not have a 'phone friendly' voice at all. I had thought I was calling the place of business listed here in my town using the local ph #. This guy went right into - what's your ph#, email, name, etc. . . and sounded like he was reading from a script with no inflection in his voice. No please or thank you! Not friendly at all! All I wanted was a few prices but I had to give up all my information before he would say one normal word to me. UHAUL - you need to find someone with some 'life' in them if you want to sell your truck rental services - or want someone to be answering all your calls. No offense but I'm now going to DRIVE over to the location listed here and TALK to a someone in person! This guy just blurted out each question and kept repeating himself without a pause "would you like to reserve it now?" (at least 4 times). Should be 'do you have any further questions? Then when I know the prices, etc. . . then he has the right to 'close the deal'. Teach him how to sell! Give him the proper tools - train him on how to talk too! Pause between words and especially at the end of a sentence. You must pay him by the reservation! I wasn't about to make his day!
