Al's Char-House Steak House

First thing first. This restaurant doesn't have wheelchair accessible for their guest. This restaurant is located on the lower level of another restaurant which they share together. They don't have an elevator that their guest can take to access this area. So you are forced to take a flight of stairs. I was offered a table in the area of the other restaurant in which shares this space with Al's charhouse. But even then I was added to a wait list with no accuracy on a quote time. The owner of Al's is quiet rude and inconsiderate of his disable guest. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Al's Char-House is great for steak. I tried the 48oz. Porter house steak and it was great. Me and my wife went there for our three year anniversary, but she said the drinks were watered-down.

My family was there this past weekend and it was the worst dining experience ever. We waited for over an hour. I am not complaining about that. It was a Saturday evening and we chose to stay after they told us the wait was an hour. So this review is not based on the wait for the table at all. However, waiting an hour and a half for our food to come is completely unacceptable! We complained to a manager and all we received back was a nod and a smile. It was quite clear that the staff does not care at all about its patrons. We finally asked for the 2 kids meals to come out because it was now after 9pm and my niece and nephew had not eaten yet. When our food came out it was quite disappointing, to say the least, that it was HORRIBLE! Steaks were not cooked right, they were dried out, and just not good. So to add insult to injury, after waiting an hour and a half for food, when it finally arrived to our table, it was not good at all. Will NOT be dining at Al's ever again.

I went to Al's for my birthday and was not impressed at all. I have been there many time in the past and have always loved it. The waiter was not very personable and I ordered my steak med-well. When the food arrived my steak was rare. It was disgusting. I couldnt wait for them to correct it because there was somewhere else I needed to be after dinner. I was pretty disappointed and will never return.
