Do NOT go here if you have a service dog! You will be made to sit in a area way way away from other customers and you will NOT be allowed to get your own food if you need your dog to help you walk or any other issue that you need your dog always by your side you will be told someone else will have to get your food for you. These acts are in total violation of a disables persons civil rights and totally against the A.D.A. laws http://www.ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm I have in the passed given workers there a copy of the laws but NOTHING has changed. YOU can make a change! Just dont go here. If enough people dont go there change will happen or the doors will close. It has caused other places that treat those with service dog teams to close there doors. Please help make a change. DONT GO HERE!
I can now say that I've found the worst delivery service I've ever found in any city, and am sad to say it is in the city I call home. My girlfriend and I ordered food for delivery 1 hour and 10 minutes before the restaurant closed. In the past, service has been reasonable. For tonight, they claimed a 45-60 minute wait. Prior to closing time (i.e. less than 70 minutes later), we called back, as food had not yet been delivered, and the delivery driver nor the business called us to explain why the delivery was taking longer than expected, and we knew they would be closing soon. The call went directly to a message just indicating that the business was now closed. I attempted myself to call several times, hoping someone might pick up the phone, but even after calling both published numbers, we only got through to a recorded message. We waited until 20 minutes AFTER close (i.e. 90 minutes after the order was placed, and a minimum of 30 minutes late), and had written off that the meal was not going to be delivered. We made alternate meal plans, and just as we started eating, we hear a car door slam outside, the doorbell rings, and I open the door to find our food has finally arrived - 95 minutes after ordering. The delivery man was quite rude from the start, and offered no explanation as to why the food was late. After I stated that the delivery was over 30 minutes late, and I would not be willing to pay at this point, the man literally ripped the food bag from my hands and stormed off stating that I would not get the food if I wasn't willing to pay. I somewhat understand this sentiment, but the unwillingness of the driver to address the issues at hand, and his lack of professionalism was simply uncalled for and the worst behavior I have ever seen from any delivery service.The food has previously been of acceptable quality - nothing special, nothing bad, and their portion sizes were always ridiculously large. Their delivery times always seemed excessive, but I always gave them the benefit of the doubt. But, if a company is willing to accost their customers in such a manner without any explanation, I am unwilling to support them further, and I would advise others to follow suit!
Ever since the original owners sold, the place is not good at all. Very low quality food, more of the cheap buffet places around town. I don't recommend this place anymore to anyone.
The worst restaurant experience I have ever had-due the terrible server. For starters, the gentleman who was serving us didn't even know what the 3 specials were for the evening (mind you, it was Valentine's Day) and responded with "Oh I don't remember, I just glanced at the board when I walked by...let me check.". At this point I wasn't upset-until my food was brought to me with the server's large black hair right on top of my food. The server did not even offer to take my food back or offer me a replacement. I ignored this as well and tried my dinner-after my fiance removed the hair and gave it to the waiter. My "beef" dish smelled and tasted like breakfast sausage. I am not a picky person and I absolutely HATE to make a stink even when I am not satisfied with my meal, but I couldn't even eat two bites of this meal. I told my server how dissatisfied I was with this and he responded with "Yeah, I usually get this dish and it doesn't smell and look like it usually does...weird!" He asked if he could get me something else (impressive, right?) and I declined, having lost my appetite already. He took my meal back to be discarded-having only a single bite taken out of this meal. To my surprise, when the bill came not only was I charged for the awful $10 dish with a hair on it, but I was charged $4 extra for the single extra veggie I had added to the dish. When I approached the server to ask if this could be removed from my bill he responded with "Aaaah, I don't think so." I wish I were kidding. After looking at him bluntly stating "I am not paying for this meal that was horrible, wasn't made correctly even admitted from your own mouth, and was presented to me with your hair on it." Reluctantly, he went to the owner and said "She wants this taken off her bill, she didn't like her meal." I could not believe it. Putting all the blame on myself, the customer, he couldn't even tell the truth to his boss. I am so disappointed, as I hear from other folks that this is a pretty good restaurant to eat at. This server completely ruined my experience. I wish I could have caught his name. He has black hair pulled back into a pony tail-if he is your server I highly recommend you request a differen't one (all of the other staff at Hunan seemed very friendly).
Big portions, fast service, and good food. Also prices are very reasonable!
