My family and I have been eating yees since we moved into this area in the 60"s..there is NO other restaurant that I can say matches these meals..I live outside of l.a.@ 1 hour,I still have friends in the area..BEST believe when I go visit them I WILL be stopping in to yees for my "pok fi ri"...this place hwre was many successful Saturday n Sunday meals when mom didn't want to cook..it has always been delicious and stays hot.♡♡♡♡♡
This place is dangerously too close to my house. Seriously - it's less than a five minute walk to cupcake heaven. All of their treats are amazing - not just the cupcakes. They also make delicious ice cream plus other baked goods such as cookies and scones. I love their savory chive and spinach scones which are perfect with Sunday morning coffee.
The best Greek food ever woooooooow. I work around Georges and go at least 3 times a week. They have a line out the door every day for lunch but it's worth every minute. The company that I work for also caters from them and its even better since it's buffet style and i get to eat an assortment of the tastiest food around in LA.
Great place to stop by especially after a full day at Universal Studios! The service was very s l o w. We ordered a few dishes and each one came out by itself instead of all at once. It's hard to eat a meal when you get one dish at a time.
This is a fun place for drinks and a moderately price dinner. The food has improved but it just lacks some inspiration. The meals tend to be single note and too Americanized. Nevertheless, it's a great place for big parties.
Looking forward to coming here on Sunday with my friend Laimei, she's a foodie, too, and she's from Castro Valley!!Update: went here yesterday and the short-rib and ox-tail stew was simply delicious--so recommend!
I absolutely love this place. I regularly drive all the way from the South Bay to get my fix of Fried Royale. It's pure pig out bliss !!! I love the shack vibe too and the staff is friendly and very efficient.
When did they clean this place last. Gosh! You'll find all sorts of crap all over here. It's sad that that's what people expect from an Indian place. I would say though that the food doesn't suck all that bad.
Found this place by accident when my fiancee was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. I think it's the Kalua Pork that I had. Yummmmm! Wish we'd known about this place when we lived in LA :(
Took my family to Bennys tacos orders some asada tacos, and their special 2 chicken deal for only $20.00 for all. Delicious and fresh with an incredible hand made tortilla. Dr. Guiv
