Colorado Fabrics

I am a "frequent flyer" to Colorado Fabrics, have been for years. They have it all! If you don't see exactly what you are looking for, check back in a couple of days, inventory is added daily. I have never been disappointed.

I went into Colorado Fabrics for the first time - and was greeted by very friendly and helpful sales staff. They gave me a tour, explained how their inventory is organized, answered all my questions. I made a long drive to shop there, and it was well worth it. I look forward to my next trip.

Do not shop here. The manager is horrible. She is disrespectful and just plain nasty! Obviously the owner is not to involved to see how she interacts with customers. Sad disappointment. No wonder the employees look so unhappy, if I had to work with that nasty lady I won't survive a day! Don't spend any money here - it is not appreciated!

I noticed most of the reviews here are several years old. A co-worker described this fabric store as a hidden Jewel in the sewing community of Denver. I found the store to be very clean and the staff super friendly. Denver Fabrics have the largest collection of fabric I've seen in one place and the best pricing. I spent twice as much at a Joann's Fabric and took home half as much materials.My only tip to new customers, is all bargain fabric under 5yrd.s is normally cut by the customer. However, the staff will help if asked. All upholstery fabric is cut by the staff. This was the only usual thing to me as a new customer.

The fabric selection is fantastic although a few more diapering fabrics would be nice to have. There is also a small collection of quilters cotton that I would love to see more of so that I can make a one stop trip and not have to go to JoAnns for my cotton or online. The fabrics in the bargain section are at a GREAT price and you can find anything you could ever want in there. Clearance fabrics are also a great find.My only problem with this store is that almost every employee I have come into contact with is cranky and acts like I have no business being in there although I have sewn for over 10 years and spend tons of money in that store. There is one very nice woman who I do not have a name for, but I hope and pray she is working every time I am in there. This store would be incredible if most of the employees would smile once in a while and pretend like they don't mind being there,

everything you need and then some. great cloth in the clearance areas.

Denver Fabrics has a great selection of every kind of fabric there is - from casual to formal to outerwear and more. Also, a great selection of notions. You can spend hours here deciding what to buy.
