I have a very sick little pup and had to stay overnight in Knoxville while he was being watched at UT Vet Hospital. When I booked the hotel - I didn't realize how far out it was. I just read Knoxville/West and figured it would be around West Town Mall area. This is my fault and I was in a hurry to pack, book a hotel and get my dog to Knoxville. The guy at the front desk was very friendly! I booked for 2 nights because I work remotely and needed the internet all day Monday. UT wound up releasing my dog Monday afternoon so I left. I knew I wouldn't get a refund on that night, but I was okay with that because of how much it cost and the fact that I did use the room/internet all day until about 5pm.The internet signal was great (which was very important). There were plenty of channels to watch on the tv and the rooms have been nicely updated (well everything but that horrible print - but hey - that's just an opinion lol). They have a very nice pool area too. I was right by the pool entrance and there were people using the pool rather late - but was able to ignore them with a fan that I purchased at the nearest walmart. I need white noise and hotel rooms are usually just too quiet for my taste anyways. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast. Packaged pastries, toast, bagels, cereal and a waffle station, and rather good coffee (with itty bitty cups) - nothing spectacular, but enough to fuel some energy for the work day, pick up the pup and for the 2.5 hour drive back to Nashville.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay one night on our trip back from Florida. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and pleasant. He seemed genuinely interested in helping us. I asked for the best available rate. He gave us a discount on the room which was less than what I expected to pay, based on what I saw online. He offered information about the area and gave us a hand-written map with various retail stores and restaurants in case we were hungry. The room was clean and properly equipped. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. When you are driving from Florida to Michigan, all you hope for is a good hotel where you can get a restful sleep, to wake up refreshed and ready to complete your drive home. Well, this hotel provided that for us. We were very happy with our stay here and will definitely stay here again. Thank you!
We only stayed one night but the Excellent Service we received at check-in made the stay. My mom and I had excellent service from Brandon when we checked in. When we told him we were planning to do some Shopping at the Turkey Creek shops, he gave us, without us having to ask, a map of the stores, he highlighted the route from the hotel to the shops and and recommend and highlighted a place for us to have dinner, which we did dine at. We had stayed here a few years ago while passing through and they have done major updates to the hotel. The location is great, it's right off the highway, it's close to food and shopping, but not on a busy street, and if you hadn't seen the full lot, you would never have known that it was that full, because it was quiet. The next time we are in the area we will be staying here again.
I was stranded for several days while waiting for vehicle repairs, and was NOT looking forward to being alone in a strange city so far from home. However, I was pleasantly surprised to feel safe in a clean and friendly environment, with hotel staff who were personable and helpful. Extra towels, coffee, map directions, a burnt out lightbulb...whatever I needed, the staff accommodated me with smiles and options. I will be sure to let my employer know about the positive experience I had here and will highly recommend this hotel to them for their future needs.I think staff can make or break a place of business and I have a feeling this Super 8 makes a point of training their staff to be helpful.
Location, neatness, friendly staff (Mirek), amenities, everything scores for this Super 8 in the outskirts of Knoxville.Having had one disastrous experience, and now always checking mattresses carefully before I commit to any motel room, I was especially impressed with the bedbug-impervious covers on boxsprings and mattresses. But the high-end furniture and spotless first impression in the room suggested there was no need for concern.Dog owners staying at this pet-friendly definitely want to check out the delightful trails at Campbell Station Park behind the library just about a mile down the road. But there's ample green space for dog-walking on the grounds if you don't have time.
We have never stayed in a Super 8 before and were a little concerned. Didn't need to be. This hotel was fantastic. The rooms were updated, large and Clean. There was a continental breakfast each morning and it was more than enough. The hotel was clean and really a welcome addition to our trip. We spent 3 nights and had no complaints at all. The location is convenient ...right by the interstate and every restaurant and store you can imagine. There is a large shopping area close by. The check in was quick. And everyone we met that worked here was great. And helpful to us since we do not know the area. I would not hesitate to come back here.
This is a very nice place to stay. We've been here before on our trip to this area and knew we would be comfortable. The owners and staff do everything to make sure your stay is exactly as you would like it to be. The rooms are large and very clean. The furniture and appliances are newer and well taken care of. Comfortable beds and sitting area in the room. The breakfast is good and the lobby and breakfast areas are clean, well stocked and neat. It is close to the highway and every place you would want to eat or shop. Overall excellent. Better than many we have stayed at for twice the cost.
Stopped at this Super 8 without a reservation and received a great room at a great price! The desk clerk who checked us in not only saw to our needs, he was funny and enjoyable as well, and even asked if I was a AAA member to offer me the AAA rate. Fantastic!! The room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking, and there are many restaurants nearby. It is also right off of the interstate, so very easy to locate. The free WiFi was a terrific added bonus! Everything was clean and well-maintained. A nice stay, thank you very much!!
The good reviews convinced me to book this hotel on our way to South Carolina. The price was amazing for the quality! Clean, great shower, comfy bed, temperature easily controlled, breakfast variety good (could use some fresh fruit), friendly service. Located 5 minutes from huge shopping mall, theater, and tons of nice restaurants. The thing we really appreciated was the clerk telling us to let him know right away if anything was wrong with the room. Will return - in fact we're booked for out return trip to Indiana.
Hotel is very convenient to the highway. Room was much nicer than I expected. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff, both at check-in and check-out, was very responsive and helpful. I had a very early departure - there was fresh coffee ready even though the breakfast did not start for a couple of hours. The front desk manager gave me danishes for the road and offered me other items that were not yet set out for the continental breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
