I was referred by a current patient. I am new to the area and called for an appointment. After a brief hold, the receptionist got on the line. I asked if they were accepting new patients for a general checkup. She replied "it depends on the insurance". I gave her the name of the insurance company. She replied "she has not heard of them". I work for a prominent employer in the area and told her the name of my employer. I told her I could give her the number for the insurance company if she would like. She was not interested in the phone number. I offered to self-pay. She said"we don't do that". Extremely disappointed in this business. I will look elsewhere for these services.

If you value your health and well being stay far far away from this practice! I went there as a new patient and Melissa appeared to be so concerned about my GI needs and was so kind and soft spoken - to my face. She wanted me to have a colonoscopy which I scheduled before leaving and also gave me orders for labs to be drawn at a specific local hospital. Once I got home I realized this procedure would be less than a week before I had to travel to a specialist in Atlanta and due to complicated health issues I knew my body wouldn't be able to handle a colon prep, anesthesia and a colonoscopy as well as a round trip to Atlanta with a 2-hr appt. with a specialist. I called her office to cancel the colonoscopy stating why but did say I would reschedule as soon as I returned from the specialist in Atlanta. I then had the labs drawn the next day and received a letter the same day being dropped from their practice for my refusal to do the colonoscopy. I didn't refuse I asked to reschedule because it was in the best interest of my health! Forward 1 1/2 weeks and I receive in the mail with NO letter to explain, no courtesy of calling me to explain the test results, the lab results. Lab results that had very serious test results out of range. Not a little out of range - alarmingly out of range!!! I guess she has no regard to the safety and welfare of her patients once she "dismisses" them. I will now find a REAL GI practice who can further investigate these findings and will warn everyone I can to stay away from Melissa Pickel!!

A WARNING to any one who works for this company or to any one seeking employment with this co. I was employed with co from 2013 to 2016. This company treated me like shi$$. I was never allowed to take a day off because they never had back up care givers to take my place. When I did get a day off no one was ever avail to take my place. When they did send some one they never did their job and always pissed my pts off. I was forced to put in a 2 week notice and 1 day before I would have completed a 2 week notice I was fired. THIS COMPANY SUCKS BIG TIME:
Beware. This agency does nothing when a sitter doesn't show up. The client is stuck alone - no food, Meds, changed underwear. It's pathetic. They dont even know when their sitter isn't coming & when they do know they may call u hours late & just say the sitter isn't coming. They are totally indifferent.
I agree they are horrible! Esp about staffing the case! And telling you what you want to hear just to become a lie! They send awful nurses that don't know what they are doing! And I'm really not sure how they get their license! They are just full of lies!
I gave this five stars just so it would be visible This company is absolutely horrible! Could not staff us and always lied about why the nurses never showed up. Lori, Lisa,& Sandy are so unprofessional they call DCS and file a false report with DCS stating I denied nursing in my home when realistically they couldn't staff us and will not pay my nurse for the four days she worked before we switched while still under their care!!!! Camellia is the worst!!!
