Overall
Knoxville's best breakfast place.

Mimi's delivers a unique menu at a great price. The food is always good.

Bland

The food, all the food was bland. The fried zucchini was not seasoned. The blackened salmon was over cooked and tasted like nothing. I will never ever go back. We had to go somewhere else to eat just to get the taste out of our mouths.

Great Food

I have eaten here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The food is great and the service was exceptional. I only wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often.

Great Place, Great People, Great Food!

I have been going to Mimi's Cafe in Turkey Creek since they first opened their doors. The menu selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are varied and consistently excellent in quality and taste. Their seasonal selections are wonderful! We are always impressed with the staff and the management. There are many, many restaurants in Knoxville, and Mimi's Cafe ranks among the top few for taste, selections, and a helpful and thoughtful staff.

There is NO other place to have breakfast in Knoxville. They do it exactly right!!

Mimis Cafe has a menu that wil...

Mimis Cafe has a menu that will appeal to everyone. Their bread basket is excellent with a variety of breads. My personal favorites are the corn chowder, quiche lorraine and the turkey dinner. Give it a try!

Loved the restaurant!

Went to Mimi's after an evening of shopping! We were seated quickly and love the decorations.
There are 2 differents sides to the restaurant, both unique!
The food was excellant and the price was reasonable!

BIG disappointment

Mimi's Cafe has great potential... that's why I have given it THREE chances to impress me. However, it seems to disappoint me more each time. Food has ranged from good to marginally bad, but as I have yet to receive a hot meal, I cannot really get a feel for the chefs' abilities. Service has been bad to worse, including one girl with ""Trainer"" on her nametag that actually forgot we were her table. Then she laughed when she told us she'd forgotten, and never apologized.

Watching the servers, they do not consolidate their steps, and seem to run around doing a lot of nothing. Especially nothing worthwhile, like bringing ice to add to my three cubes in the glass, or Heaven forbid, bringing us clean silverware after we had asked twice already.

I seldom leave poor reviews, prefering to just say nothing. But Mimi's impressed me... in the wrong direction.
