Knoxville Trophy & Awards

The first time we used this shop, I assumed the owner was having a bad day. She was short with me, but I can chalk that up to personality differences. What bothered me was when I reentered the store to ask a question, she was badmouthing me to a coworker. I didn't address that issue, asked my question, and left. My order was complete on time, but some of the placards were stamped twice in places, making them look smudged. Because we were short on time, we didn't ask to have them redone.

When my boss asked me to return to the shop for a second order, it took two separate tries to find the shop open (no hours listed). I placed my order on a Friday morning (a small order that took 2 days the last time) and requested that it be ready the following Wednesday. On the following Thursday, after hearing nothing about my order, I called to see if it was ready. She interrupted me, told me "It'll be ready Monday," and hung up on me before I could ask why.

On Monday (3 business days after my order was requested), she called and told me that I had given her 2 different amounts for how many pieces I needed. I know for a fact that I did not write the second number on our order. The number she assumed was the amount I needed was actually the price she quoted for the order. She was only then starting work on my order.

On Tuesday, we went to pick up the order. The store said open, but the door was locked. When we called, she said she wouldn't be back in for 3 hours. I would be clocked out by that time, so instead she brought the order by on Wednesday (the only nice part of the experience, although I had been to her store 3 times by now for this order) and left a bill. The bill was 25% more than she quoted me to begin with! When my boss went by to pay and discuss what happened, she said she never quoted me the lower price. My boss paid her the amount on the bill.

Every time I've had to deal with this woman, she has been borderline rude, and sometimes, completely so. She was late, confused, defensive, and a cheat. She runs her own business, but if she treats everyone this way, she's running off her customers. I will never, ever recommend this business (in fact, I will be telling more people about this situation), and we will take our business somewhere else from now on. I was nothing but nice until now, but I am tired of the way she walked all over me and my coworkers.

Incompetent, rude and unprofessional. Not worth the headache. I would go to the other trophy stores in town.

We had some trophies and medals made for a basketball tournament that we are hosting this season and everything was delivered as promised and when expected. Will definitely use again.
