don't choose a TV lawyer you think hey he'll be great.. Everything takes longer with this office simply because they have too many clients anin't can't give them the proper tme other lawyers give you.. When the go file your papers for a hearing if they have already filed theur limit for that week your claim gets put on another list to wait.. It usually takes 9 to 12 month to see the judge and that's what they tell you but most cases its 18 to 24 months with this office.. Ive did my home work. I have polled over 500 people going to court and this office has the worst record of getting hearings number one complaint is that it took double the time they said. Also they don't spend no time with you the average before court with this office 10 to 15 minutes. Other office had an actual appointment in their office with 1.5 to 2 hours going over everything to expect... Also most people had a young attorney show up at court they didn't know much

The poster that said they delay as long as possible obviously didn't research the flow of process and time each process takes the ssa to make decisions or length of time they have to reply.And the info they send the atty is also sent to claimant at same time .I would have felt the same if I hadn't taken the time to do some real research on the process.And NO I'm not 1 of their employee's.If you want to blame someone or something look no further than politics !!!!

The Disability process is a nightmare to begin with, after 1st denial I met with an atty. at Buchanan's office to file my appeal. Their office never gave me a update, I had to call to see what the status was plusI had to submit monthly medical info to them for submission to SSA. The 2nd paralegal that completed my case was Tara and she was awsome and very compassionate. I didn't really like the fact that I didn't even meet my lawyer until the morning of court, I was in pain and very nervous plus he was late getting there. I didn't feel like I was informed in the beginning that I wouldn't even meet my atty. until the day of my hearing and was a little upset by it but regardless of that, my medical records proved my disability and the paralegal sent the correct info to the SSA and my case was won after approx. 15 months.
