Tonight while in the Clinton Hwy. store, the manager, Johnny Pope let a employee who could barely stand straight leave early, get into her car under some kind of influence and crash into my car. The employee drove off and the manager reprimanded another employee for talking to me. The sheriff was called, by me, and when trying to talk to manager Pope, he was suddenly held up in a meeting and wouldn't come out of his office. I waited outside to speak with him after closing because I thought it would be the least he could do and was informed his employer, KFW owner, Tim Harris told him he was not allowed to speak with me. Why? What are you trying to hide cowards?

Will never purchase another item from this company. My partner and I spent over 11,000.00 cash with our salesman Robb M. at the store located at Parkside Drive. We were really excited about furnishing our new home. The day of our delivery Rob calls and informs us that only a portion of our purchase will be delivered because there was a "mix-up" at the warehouse. We purchased a bedroom set and dining room set with six chairs and an entry way table. The first shipment arrived with the hutch and buffet, table and two chairs (one of the chairs was used and had mixed matching screws on the bottom and the other four were missing, we sent the used chair back). We also received a dresser and mattress/box springs. 4 chairs, no bed frame, no chest of drawers, no mirror for dresser with this first shipment. When we called and spoke with Dave (manager) he acted like he could have cared less that we only got part of our purchase. We sent the used chair back and was promised we would receive everything the following Tuesday. The delivery guys were horrible, they could have cared less that they were assembling our new furniture on bare concrete and getting it scratched, one of the guys talked horrible to his partner, it was ridiculous, I finally stepped in and helped them get the dresser up the stairs. Tuesday rolls around and KWF truck shows up with the rest of our furniture (so we thought). They only had three chairs and one of the chairs was the rejected one we has sent back...SERIOUSLY!!! Another one was scratched horribly. We told the delivery guys and Robb M. that we would be keeping all the chairs until they sent us new ones so that we would not get the same ones redelivered that we had rejected. We have never been so disgusted and disappointed with a company in our lives. We both work for very large companies and will get the word out that all this company cares about is the sell of their furniture and nothing more. Their customer service is absolute garbage!! Meanwhile we are impatiently waiting on four new chairs to arrive!! Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had and will never purchase another item from this company. Our biggest regret is that we did not go with the Orleans set at Haverty's Furniture Store. Buyer Beware!!!
To make a long story short! We purchased over $10,000 in furniture between Knoxville Furniture and Ashley Furniture. We had great service as long as we were buying. But! We when received our furniture there was a knob missing. I waited until the next day to see if the delivery guys notified our sales Rep. He had not had time to check it out but would call me after reviewing it. I simply asked him could we get a knob from one of theirs on the floor. HE BLATANTLY SAID NO! THAT IT WOULD MAKE THE FLOOR GALLERY LOOK BAD! I told him after he had such a nasty attitude! That I would be coming in and I would be leaving with a knob for my bedroom suite. I went in and did get it, and he gave me tge wrong knob. I called him and he said he was sorry about that. So I had to go back to the store again! (An hour away) but he had to drag my wife and me through the store to the back to get the knob chastising us all the way! I will never go to the Knoxville Furniture Store off of Kingston Pike again.I am very disappointed in you Lou! We really a lot of you until we needed you! Service is only good as long as there is a sell going on! He will not stand behind you as a customer! Where is service after the sell?
The worse customer service I have ever received. I was suppose to receive my furniture 6 weeks ago. I was told it was in stock. It is not and still waiting. Asked for a refund and they said No. Dave regional manager has no concept of customer service. All follow up was driven by me not them. Just want a bed. Do not shop here.
They delivered a broken sleeper couch. My wife took delivery. When she went to use the sleeper, it would not fold back in. Sales (Allen Fox) said he'd take care of it. 6 calls later, he says I didn't say they'd call back TODAY! Finally, 2 guys in KWF truck show up, wrestle the sleeper in & out & find the broken frame. 8 more calls & e-mails to Mgr Dave Tom resut in "I promise I will fix this for you." But NOTHING HAPPENS. Screw it - Lucky, it's still in the time limit for American Express - DISPUTE!!! REFUND!!! BUY from KWF? BUYER BEWARE!!!
I, like so many others on here, have had a horrible experience with KWF. I refuse to buy any other products from them. They have delivered 5 dressers to me over the course of 3 months and none have been right. The first 4 had cracks in the frame. After numerous calls and complaints I finally spoke with Darren who made arrangements to bring the 5th dresser out. However, his excuse was "now that we know the problem, we know to look for it." I don't know why it took them 4 dressers to recognize the problem. I have been very vocal about what the problem is; they just refuse to listen. I was also supposed to receive a miniscule compensation for the trouble I had; but, big surprise, it hasn't arrived yet! There management staff is rude and unhelpful. Darren was the closest thing to a somewhat reasonable person I encountered. It's a shame I had to go through this for so long before he was ever brought in to help. They also refused to allow me to return the furniture. The excuse was they were not going to take back furniture that had been in my house since July. Hello, after 3 months they still couldn't make it right. But because of that, they know refused to allow a return. I would have returned it after the first dresser if I had known they were so incompetent. But, of course, they had a no return policy. But based on comments made to me during this ordeal, they apparently will make exceptions in some cases. If my situation wasn't severe enough to warrant a return, I can only imagine how bad the situation had to be for those they allowed the return. Horrible customer service and poor quality products. They don't deserve your money.
I only give them 1 start because to post you have to rate them. Personally they don't even rate 1 star!!!!! I bought 8 dining room chairs... my son went to pick them up. They were in 4 boxes not put together. He did not know they were supposed to be put together so he brought them home. When I saw them I was livid. Called three store&c spike with the manager & he is an idiot. One of the chairs is broken & waiting on delivery of another one. Called & spike with manager again was going to check on the delivery & call me in 5 minutes that was an hour ago. Asked what they were going to do about paying full price for chairs we had to assemble still have not received an answer on that. They are horrible on customer service. Would not recommend to anyone! !!!
Do not buy anything from Knoxville Wholesale Furniture. I bought a leather coach and love seat with a 5 year warranty. The leather is peeling off both pieces of furniture. They are not going to do anything about it. I am not pleased!
It is unfortunate that a business such as this has such poor customer service. It seems to me that the ownership has figured that they make enough money that it doesn't matter how many customers they lose. Their logistics is poor, their salesmanship is poor, their management is poor, and their customer service flat out sucks. THe management apparently hasn't been given authority to make decisions that would help solve issues. This attitude comes from the top. I haven't attempted it yet, however, my understanding is that the owner doesn't speak with customers. I can tell you this. I have more than 1000 friends on facebook who I will share my negative experience with. Multiply that times the sales you lose Mr. Harris. BTW, they deserve zero stars. I had to check a minimum of one.
Beware: We bought furniture twice from the store on Parkside Drive. The sales people are very nice and we didn't have an issue with the first purchase. The second purchase was a different story. It's been a month and we are still harassing the store about our delivery. They did a partial delivery (had the wrong parts for the bed and were missing a side table) and to this day they still don't have it all figured out... I am very disappointed and annoyed, as it really messed up our plans - i.e. this furniture was for a guest bedroom, so our guests can't use it as is now... I'm very irritated with the way they handled the process - no customer service and no sense of urgency to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be buying anything else from them.
