I give it a 2 for sour pussed owner who is always there at the restaurant and when her two boys are off from elementary school, they are STUCK sitting in the booth for hours at a time--probably all day. I used to like the food but coupled with the nickel and dime mentality after being there a year (charge you for hard noodles w/your order) and I forget what else, you eventually start to NOT like their food, which was super good when they first opened up, but the quality has gone downhill ever since. I don't have to have a waitress being cheery anymore much less happy to see a repeat customer, it's just when one has a sour face on them, I feel I should have gone elsewhere, even though one time I forgive them figuring they had a bad day. And it's not just me, but lots of people have commented on this.
I've been going to this restrauant for years now, and it's always been very good. It has a very large buffet selection from which to choose, and the selections are tasty and delicious. Their Korean Chicken (spicy hot) is one of my favorites as is their fried dumplings, egg foo young, brockley chicken, hot and sour soup, and on and on. As I've been a frequent customer of Chinese food all over the United States for over 40 years I can say the China Garden is one of the best I've eaten at. The atmosphere and the personnel are very nice and is conducive to enjoying a very good meal whether it be lunch or dinner which have different selections not to mention the very reasonable cost.
Are you kidding? This is the best chinese restaurant in knoxville. The ingredients are all fresh, your order is cooked to taste, none of that yucky tastes like frozen and deep fried stuff. The chicken lettuce wraps are yummy as is everything else. The restaurant is clean and affordable for what you get. Mongolian beef, Kung Pao Chicken, any of the Lo Meins are my picks, but everything I have tried has been great. One of my all time favorite restaurants!!!
First of all, the person who said this place is like a gas station with some tables must have eaten at a different restaurant. It's a full-fledged restaurant. I ate here on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant was not crowded. The assortment of food was good as was the flavor. The place was clean and the waitress kept my water glass full. They have real ice cream in tubs as an added bonus. I will definitely eat here again when I pass through town.
The buffet was very good & we will go back!!!! Less than $6 a person & less than $4 for children customer service was VERY nice! While we were there they changed the spoon to everything & they are very sanitary! For sure would recommend very nice & clean, even the restrooms were clean!!!!!
The food is pretty good here and the price isn't that bad either. The lady who takes your order and runs the front has a bad attitude and isn't pleasant at all. If they had good customer service then I would rate them as very good. The buffet is not large at all and lacks variety.
The food here is amazing and is always fresh. I eat here at least 3 or more times a week. They are super friendly and have a great family atmosphere. If you want good food then I highly recommend that you give China Jiang a try. Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself.
Authentic food! Friendly service! Impeccable atmosphere! We highly recommend you drop in and savor their scrumptious cuisine; you won't be disappointed! Their eagerness to please further enhances the congenial ambiance. See you there!
Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while. Will definitely be returning. Had Chicken and mixed vegs. Excellent flavor. However, you do not get an egg roll or soup with your lunch order. Prices reasonable as well
Panda Garden is a great fast restaurant for very good Chinese food. The helpings are very generous. I like to get my food to go. The resaurant is small but they have a great selection of dishes.
