This place is wonderful! If you are looking for a wedding dress near Knoxville make this your first stop. I went here the first time and was a little disappointed with the dress selection. I only saw one dress that I liked, but that dress turned out to be the one. It was an Allure Couture mermaid that had crystals and lace from top to bottom! The only problem was that it was $3k. They do have more ball gowns than anything, but I wanted a tight fitting dress with a lot of crystals. The consultant Nancy put me in my dress and wasn't pushy AT ALL! She asked me what I liked and what I didn't. She wasn't trying to get me to buy anything that I couldn't afford. I left the store to try on other gowns. After going to quite a few more places, being so disappointed in the selection, I couldn't stop thinking about the dress I had tried on at Wedding Wonderland. I called them back to make another appointment. The manager or owner, I'm not really sure, told me that the bridal stuff was 15% off that month! I was SO happy. I rushed into the store and tried on the dress again. I spent an hour with the dress on and trying on accessories. Nancy wasn't trying to rush me or anything. She was so happy and was taking pictures. I bought my dress, and about a month later I got a letter in the mail from Nancy. She had sent me a thank you letter and told me how nice it was to spend the day with me. I felt like I was welcomed there, and I didn't feel pushed or rushed like I did at other stores. This place is 100Xs better than certain chain stores that have mass produced dresses, ladies you know where I'm talking about...beside West Town. The dresses they sell here are made for you. You don't get a sample dress unless you want a discounted dress. Make sure you allow plenty of time for them to make your dress, about six months for everything. Overall my experience here was wonderful! They made me feel special.

Very disappointed in this place. It was fine when I went with my best friend and she was getting married. The second time I went here was a complete mess, and I was about to start fighting with the person that does alterations. I made an appointment to get my bridesmaid dress altered. When I showed up I brought everything but a bra because I forgot it. When I walked up to the counter they didn't even have my name down for an appointment and told me that I was mistaken. I showed them where I made an appointment and they reluctantly took me back. The head seamstress was SO rude. She was mean the whole time because of something they messed up on. Because I didn't bring a bra they put me in one of theirs, $50 I might add. After they did my alterations, $100 on a $90 dress, they told me I HAD to buy the bra. I told them it didn't fit right, and I wasn't paying $50 for a bra. They got SO angry! They were almost yelling at me telling me that my dress wouldn't fit right without it. Turns out the one in Murfreesboro did the same thing to a friend of mine. They actually slipped the bra in her bag when she wasn't looking though. I felt so bad when I left there. They called me the next day and told me I missed my appointment by the way...
So REFRESHING!! I was reffered to Wedding Wonderland by a friend and cannot thank her enough for telling me about it! The stores does not have a huge selection of gowns but they have a little of everything. They carry wedding gowns, bridesmaids gowns, and mother of the bride gowns, along with lingerie. The wedding gowns are mostly lace and beading with a few plain ones. I was looking for lace and found my match made in heaven! I wanted to cry as soon as I put it on. Also, they use pins to fit the dress on you, not those big clip things that don't really give you shape! The dressing rooms are very large and you can even call ahead and they will have champagne ready for you when you get there :) They are not pushy at all and really want you to just be happy with what you choose. The owner Lisa is an angel. She worked with me personally and made me feel very relaxed and less stressed because she could answer all of my questions about the dress and alterations and costs and time frame. Appointment is not required there but i suggest you make one so in case they are busy you will for sure get a consultant all to yourself. I HIGHLY suggest you go to Wedding Wonderland
I was concerned about going because I'd seen some harsh reviews but am SO glad I went. The shop itself is bright and inviting, as are the ladies that work there. It's well organized, the fitting rooms are big and the selection of dresses is fantastic. I went in without an appointment and they took amazing care of me. I was looking for something very particular when I went in--sleeves. Not a jacket, but actual sleeves. My consultant took a lace jacket and pinned in in place for each dress to give me an idea of what it would look like and let me know that working with the designers would be easy. I ended up falling in love with a dress that had straps but on sleeves and was perfectly happy with it. I've recommended the place to friends and even gone with a friend with serious budget issues that they were able to work with. I completely recommend Wedding Wonderland! (and in response to another review, I recommend them over White lace and promises because you had to have an appointment to try anything on and there store was very confusing. WLP isn't even there anymore!)
I am so impressed with the wonderful ladies I met in the alterations department today. I went into my appointment with so much anxiety because I had lost quite a bit of weight after purchasing my wedding dress due to stress and illness, and I couldn't be sure where my weight would be on my wedding day, two months from now -- an alterations nightmare, I'm sure! All four of the ladies were immensely kind and immediately put my mind at ease, giving me suggestions and reassuring me that they could work with me to make sure my dress fit on my wedding day. All the women seemed genuinely determined to make my dress as perfect as possible. I went into the appointment anxious and afraid of being judged or seen as a bother, and I came out of the appointment in tears of relief and gratitude. I truly cannot recommend these wonderful ladies enough -- I don't think I could have found such genuinely kind, conscientious, and hard-working people anywhere else.
I went here to get a black blusher that the online website was available in stores. Shipping online is absurd and "regular" shipping takes about 2 weeks, although in their refund policy, you can't cancel an order because they supposedly process them soooo quickly. So anyway, at the store, they take me back to all their accessories and only white is available. I ask if I can place the order IN THE STORE and pay them cash then vs. having to use a credit card online. No, that absolutely can't be done. Okay, so I saw another black headpiece I liked, that'll do, but the one they had looked pretty rough so I ask if there are any more. Nope, what they have back there is all they have. All I get is a sorry. No one offered to see when maybe the other one I liked might come in, which I assume if they are OUT of a product, they would re-order them. Won't be getting anything from them now!
Amazing! Mary Elizabeth and Polly from the alterations team completely saved my wedding, and I know that I'm just one of the MANY "emergencies" they see every day. I cannot thank them enough! With only a week to go, I thought I was doomed to have an ill-fitting dress after two rounds of alterations at a different David's Bridal store and was about to swear I'd never shop there again. However, my experience at the Knoxville location was totally different. They went completely beyond my expectations, even dropping their current workload to fix my issue right away. And they did it the RIGHT WAY, not the lazy attempt that had been done previously. I would highly recommend them for other brides in the Knoxville area.
Went dress shopping with my daughter and had a wonderful experience. Connie was very helpful, the dresses are gorgeous, and the prices to die for! No appointment necessary. My daughter found a dress she loved, but since it was the first shop, we decided to go to our next appointment. Connie said feel free to stop by and try the dress on again - which we did - and my daughter knew it was the one. Great experience all the way around. Highly recommended!
This is the neatest shop with dresses in more than one size and Connie and Charlie were just so much help. I think they said that they have been doing weddings in Knoxville for over twenty five years.. The prices were great!
Great value, prices and the best service. Charlie and Connie are not pushy they really love to see customers try all the options. I highly recommend this store.
