Addition to last review. Regarding tankless water heater. They put in heater but the wiring was not completed on same day.. as of now still is not. I timed how long it takes for warm water to reach sinks. Takes bout minute to reach sinks. Something else.. washers and using hot cycle for whites??
Initial service call was great and quick. Technician that came out was great. But the company pricing for repairs is a major rip off. Was quoted $1,385.00 for a replacement gas valve part plus labor for the installation. Called another service company to get a second opinion and they charged me $220.00 for the exact same part and I got the same repair completed from a competitor for less than 1/3 the price. Seems that Weathermaster is more concerned about selling their maintenance contracts than providing service at a fair price. Would never recommend this company.
Choosing Weather Master for my recent AC repair was a huge disappointment. I recently selected them back in June for AC repair based on their online reviews. I ended up needed to have the entire unit replaced, which I worked with Weather Master to do. Sadly, ~$4,000 and 4 short weeks later, the brand new unit stopped working. I had to wait 2 days for someone to come. Upon diagnosing the problem, they confirmed it was a faulty part not installed correctly causing the unit to leak coolant. I had to wait 4 days and constantly call them before someone came to fix it! Less than 24 hours later the same part, which was installed incorrectly again, broke. I had to call constantly to follow up (even left a message for the owner who never called me back) before someone came a third time. I have been expecting it to break again, and last night it did. Now I have to call and wait for them to come out again. I would go with another company, but can't due to the warranty on my new unit.
My AC went out overnight and I called first thing the next morning. I got on the waiting list for same day service knowing I might not get a tech by that day. After a very long day for him, my tech Nick came at 9pm and spent an hour on the repair. I'm so grateful, given we are set for one of the hottest weekends of the year. Thank you!
Weather Master is one of the companies I trust doing business with. Its techs are the greatest. Hurley Redd was the tech that came out on a service call. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. He promptly identified the problem and fixed it. He also suggested some things I might need to consider given the age of my HVAC system. He was very easy to understand and to do business with. Thank you Weather Master and Hurley.
Bad sales practice and switching price when job completed with different amount. I asked Weather Master Home Services for estimate on csst bonding. The technician said he called his boss and he can do for $75 if I do now which save him the trip or $175 if he comes back. I agreed to have the technician perform the job. Once the job is completed which took less than 30 minutes. He wrote up the invoice for $175. I asked him why and he said he did not tell me $75 and his boss said the same. This is a bad business practice and switching price one job is completed.
Weather Master has installed 3 furnace/AC units in my house in the past 3 years, 2 when it was built 3 years ago and 1 when we finished the basement 2 years ago. The two year old has recently died. I called Weather Master to schedule an appointment. First I was told they had no record of installing anything at my address. After my contractor called and read them the riot act the found my record. I then called back and said that I assume part or all of this would still be under warranty. I was told that because we didn't sign a service agreement with them to have each unit serviced twice a year our warranty is void. I'm not sure if that is even legal but I do know it's robbery. Will never use them again.
We have called Weather Master multiple times over the years. However, they have set the bar exceedingly high with HVAC technician, Josh Lyon. If you think honesty and intergrity is unheard of these days, meet Josh! He helped us recently with the yearly maintanence of our unit. He was diligent in his work, informative, polite, and excellent at giving explanation. We will continue to call Weather Master as they continue to provide excellent service, but we will ask specifically for Josh Lyon for as long as he is employed by Weather Master. A very special thank you to Josh!
We were very pleased with the install of the new HVAC system. The installer, Jesus, was absolutely wonderful. This guy had to come back on the second day to replace another part and he wouldn't leave until the system was perfectly balanced. He was wonderful! We are totally happy with the install and we know we can call them with any problems. Let's hope it is just for the annual maintenance and not issues!
My husband is the envy of the neighborhood with the new system! (I guess it is a guy thing!)

The crew did a great job yesterday. They arrived on time, worked hard and finished well….cleaning up the work areas. We are pleased with the product Weather Masters proposed and look forward to enjoying the use of the two systems. Their men are professional and I would recommend this company to my friends. Dave from Weather Master arrived, he was very knowledgeable of different brands. He answered all my difficult questions. The install crew of Chris and Jairo were both very nice and polite. They answered all my questions. Plastic was placed throughout my basement and they even vacuumed before leaving. I am almost looking forward for my second unit to drop off line, just to call them back.
1st. We had a $6k overhaul/install of a new central AC system. Excellent. Could not believe what was acomplished in 1 day.
2nd. Last week we had $3600 worth of plumbing done with the soft water system included. Technician was Edwin Laso, also a new neighbor. Edwin is an excellent technician as well as a brilliant customer service representative. His products & service knowledge was very impressive & is what tipped the scales in favor of executing all the work right there & then, at that moment, in 100 degree heat, tools at the ready! Strong stuff! (Right by the book, if I do say so myself!)
We really like the new green trucks! People see green & they think positive thoughts about not harming the enviroment. Brilliant.
We really appreciate their services.
