I called Saturday for a three person pedicure (2 adults and 1 child) for her a little girls birthday. I asked if we could all get a pedicure at the same time. She agreed after some hesitation. The pedicare station is bare wood and the chairs you sit in are very uncomfortable. (Just go in and look and you will understand). There was only two pedicure stations. The girl had to wait for us to get ours all the way done, until she could get hers, which was not expressed by the owner Jennifer. It took the tech about an hour and 45min to do a full pedi on all three of us, which they advertise as a 60min pedicure. The toenail polish was missing a spot on my toe. After she finished the little girls pedi I asked her if she could fix it. She took of part of the nail polish and added more on top, thus leaving lines in a new spot. After all was done we went to pay and Dava couldn't find the card reader. She told us just to come in sometime to pay and that we could "take our time and pay sometime this week". Dava texted me on monday saying she would be there until 5pm and to stop by if I can and that "If not we can figure something else out (smiley face)". I got the text during class so didn't respond and then worked that night and I knew they closed at 5pm and was planning on stopping in Thursday when I get cash from my job (since they didn't have a card reader). Today, I get a nasty voicemail from Jennifer saying I better pay today by 5pm or they are contacting the cops and I will be arrested for not paying and that they had called me twice and texted me a bunch with no response (which they never called, only left the nice text). I called back right after I got out class and the owner was still very rude and even though my friend paid for 1 adult pedi and the little girls pedi, Jennifer said I owed 1 adult and 1 child pedi, luckily my friend had her receipt for proof. I left school to go to their shop and pay them.
The over all experience was very unprofessional, and unpleasant. The haircut was of such poor quality that I immediately had another haircut from a new stylist in order to remedy the previous one. I told the Headhunter's hair stylist I would like short on the sides, and no hair off the top. He proceeded to take a half inch off the top. Then cut the hair on the left side of my head noticeably shorter than the right. The hairdresser I went to directly afterwords informed me that the hairs along the back of my neck were uncut. I an addition to all this, Headhunters charges significantly more than any other hairstylist in town for markedly incompetent results.
I have had such a great experience! I had Shiloh give me such a lovely pedicure! I will be suggesting my friends, and at a great price! If you get a chance, go see these lady's at Duo!
