Columbia Forest Products, formerly known as Columbia Plywood Corporation, is one of the largest manufacturers of hardwood plywood products in North America. The company offers a variety of decorative interior veneers and panels that are used in cabinetry, furniture, architectural millwork and commercial fixtures. Founded in 1957, it is an employee-owned business that operates various plants in the United States and Canada. The company maintains a staff of more than 1,500 people. It sells products through a network of wholesale distributors, mass merchandisers and original equipment manufacturers. The company sells birch, oak, maple, ash, poplar, cherry, hickory, pine and walnut veneer. It offers products under the Appalachian Traditions, Europly and UV Wood brands. Columbia Forest Products operates an international division that imports panel products from Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Africa. Its products are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The company operates McMinnville Manufacturing Company and Millwood Specialty Flooring.
