Where do I start?!? My significant other and I visited this hotel from 4/13-4/15 in celebration of my 31st birthday. I was ready to go to Disney and Universal because I had not been in 20 years and my girlfriend had never been. I chose this hotel, even after mixed reviews because it was a good deal...or so I thought!!! The room was beyond PATHETIC from the photos and management, although we spoke to a man and another female “manager” that did NOTHING!!! We allowed them to know upon arrival that our room wasn’t up to par...nasty smells and stained carpets and such. We returned from Universal and was told we could get another room, even though they were supposed to hold a room for us, that we had to pay for another one!!! What?!? The room we had initially was NOT even motel quality!!! I did not get his name, but the guy managed charged us $34 for a room in the other part of the hotel, since they claim to have sold out. Mind you...his answer to our complaint was...you can always go to another hotel. HUH?!? Hmm...I DOUBT IT!!! I’m confused- why should my guest and I be ⬆️ charged for a suitable room?!! Especially when we were guaranteed a decent room when we returned from universal. The new room was decent...as in we were comfortable enough to sleep there. The hot water was luke warm at best and the bathroom was dirty, but we survived. The next night we spoke to the female manager and she was no better. Yes, she listened but that is all; offered no solution. Neither manager offered us an apology. We emailed the owner and he said we could have credit. WHY WOULD WE WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN?!?!?!
We booked five rooms for a multi family vacation. The security of $40. Per room has been charged for a phantom "kicked in hole in the wall" which changes room to room depending on who is inquiring about their security deposit! Calls from the manager are not returned!
