Danna's Bar B Q & Burger Shop

Me and my husband used to eat here ALL the time. We went in about 2 months ago, my husband ordered a cheese burger with no miracle whip. When the lady brought us our food, his had miracle whip on it. I told her abd she took it back. About 5 minutes later she returned with his food. It had another slice of cheese on it. I pulled back the slice of cheese and you could see where they wiped off the miracle whip and just put abother slice of cheese on top of it. I told the cashier and she said that was not the way they do things. She called the owner and they were going to comp our meal. It was just shy of $50 since I had brought my mom and sister with me also. I told her that was not necessary since that was the only issue we had. She gave us a $15 gift card and we left. On September 19 me and my husband had some friends in town and decided to go back and try it again. We went to use our $15 gift card we had been given, only to find out there was NO money on the gift card. I asked them to contact the owner, surely she remembered the experience we had the previous time we were in, they refused. I will NOT go back. Although it used to be our FAVORITE place to go, I will not give my money to a place that thinks it is okay to treat people like that.

I ate here back in march and it was amazing. My parents and I are from Maryland but i recently moved to springfield so we took a day trip and locals recommended this place. The atmosphere is casual, you order at the counter and choose a table, the food is brought to you. I liked how you can add as much sauce as you like... but the food was the best. So tender and juicy, flavorful and it was clear they knew what they were doing! Im planning to drive back there soon, my tastebuds are already watering! You must go!
