Service

Had a great dinner with my dad. Steak was cooked to perfection. Baked potato loaded hit the spot. The server was Elizabeth, and I must say, she has the cutest darn tush of any waitress I have seen in Texas. A+++.
Not sure what others had, but you go here to get a good steak, nothing else.

Overall
rushed and un welcomed

Worst service I ever had!! went here once about 30 minutes before they closed and boy was that a mistake! Normally I wouldnt go to a restaurant 30 minutes before they close but me and my family had been busy that evening and hadn't had the chance to have dinner yet and wanted some good food. First off the food was alright. But my main complaint was the staff was down right rude! they just acted annoyed when me and my family walked in. Once we were sat our server wasnt very friendly and the manager turned down the lights and shut off the music we just felt rushed and un welcomed. If you want good food and good service i recommend you pass this place and go down the road to Hofbrau Steaks off of 1314 in Porter me and my family have been going there for years and they actually care about their customers its a true steak house with great food and southern hospitality something Texas Road house could really use.

Food great service sucks

If you go here be sure the total in you party is less than eight or you will get charged for gratuity. I had eight people in my party and the check totaled $83.00 WITH A $13.00 gratuity! Which is totally stupid because our waitress was young and not all that good. The cost of the food and drinks was a little over $60.00 so to be charged over $13.00 for gratuity was retarded! It took about 5 phone calls with an uncaring and lakluster manager just to get it back and that's after I threatened to contact the home office to complain. When I went to get my money I told the manager that the policy needs to be changed or hes going to lose alot of customers. All he did was say well.

OK Service and Good Food

The staff is very young, most are pretty good while some could do better.

When I asked for a sprite, the waiter once forgot and on another occasion the waiter brought it and his hands were wet while he wiped them on his apron (now was that sprite from the fountain, probably so. Not a clean move.) A waste of time to complain.

The food is pretty good on the other hand.

VERY BAD MANAGEMENT TEAM

Management team places untrained wait staff on the floor who provides bad service. Then service manager does nothing about it and the General Manger does not show any concerns when presented with the problem.
