Pet ranch in Kingwood is a great place to get what you need for your pet! They have always been very friendly, knowledgeable, and they go the extra mile to carry the things I ask for. The carry many of the top rated foods for my dogs. I've been shopping here for many years.
Went in to purchase my typical 10-lb bag of cat food, but they were out of the 10lb bag. I naturally recommended to buy (2) 5-lb bags for the price of the depleted 10-lb bag, thus preventing me to pay an additional $8 than I would normally pay for the 10-lb bag. They violated business common sense and Business-101 on how to keep and satisfy a customer. I opted not to pay $32 for two 5-lb bags and left the store. Bought the same $10-lb item online for $24, and free shipping with three-day delivery. Pet Ranch lost me--the customer--over their combination of greed and ignorant customer service business practices. They can now focus on trying to screw other customers who come in to buy cost-effective 10-lb bags of dog/cat food for $24 (that they are conveniently out of), and thus compelling unwary customers to buy the business' more profitable (2) 5-lb bags--or the same 10-lbs for $32! Nice showing, Pet Ranch!
My husband and I would like to offer you our sincerest of apologies for you horrible service in our store, Pet Ranch. Yes, common sense dictates that you take care of your customer's need...PERIOD! I am a consumer too when not in the store and I've got to tell you... if a retailer fails me, there are plenty out there who would greatfully treat me right. I would be interested in any details that you might care to share with me regarding product type (brand), day of week, time of day, if the employee even offered to get the manager on duty to handle your needs, etc. Thank you for your feedback... the only way we can correct unobserved breakdowns in service is if someone takes the time to alert us to the problem. Pet Ranch is who we are and, after 33 years of owning this business, our passion towards our customers has never waivered!
