My family is a big fan of Scape. It has great outdoor dining sections and a new executive chef that has really turned the restaurant into one of the best fine dining restaurants in St. Louis, especially in the Central West End. The people are always really friends, the atmosphere is elegant but comfortable and they have a lot of delicious options on the menu. I also heard that for the summer they are having something called "Backstreet BBQ" every Sunday through mid-September. I am excited to try it out. Scape's sister restaurant, Crepes, Etc is also yummy when you want to grap a quick bite or coffee. Crepes are a little too sweet for me in general but there are other things on the menu to indulge in. They have outdoor seating as well and it open late which is nice when you're out and about in the West End.

From Business: Anthony's Bar in downtown St. Louis is THE cool and happening place for lunch and dinner. Casual and relaxed - come as you are, but feel free to dress to impress.…
This is a awesome place to eat! I love their shrimp, and I wish they served unlimited shrimp all the time. The only thing that I hate about this place of business is that the waiting line to be seated is always a delay because of the crowd of people. I really think that you all should look into making these restaurants bigger to accomodate a large crowd of guests. But I recommend this restaurant to any man who is looking to take their woman out for some good sea food.
Hands down the best seafood in St. Louis!!! I've been to Oceano many times over the past couple of years and will continue to return when I crave fresh upscale seafood. The food is always outstanding. Service is attentive and friendly. Nice wine selection with some good values. Be sure to make a reservation because they are full most nights of the week. It's a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal on a Sunday evening (less crowded and more quiet).
A great restaurant with a devoted following and chef who made great food and treated his staff well, at least as evidenced by the small turnover. As of April '08 though, as you may confirm from their website, it has closed and I do not expect it to re-open.
Fast, near zero waitnig, clean... and the food just seems to be hotter and better tasting than the other RL's. Worth traveling maybe the extra distance (you probably would be in line waiting at the other RL anyway).
I have been here twice for business and with some friends. I actually live just down the street. Yeah it's a little on the pricey side but the food is terrific both times I went were great experiencs
My last visit to Red Lobster was the best. Our servings were cold and the waiter was so nice and kind about the whole experience, it took away the unpleasantness.
No real issues but the Maplewood Commons may have the edge over this location. Parking can be a hassle. Many times a long wait getting seated. Food is good.
Enjoyed Landry's for an anniversary night out. Lobster was excellent. Loved the location and staff took very good care of us on a special night out.
Fast and friendly service. Food is hot when it comes out and its in a very nice area. Will cont. to patronize this location.
