This restaurant, Taqueria Jalisco #5 is a " go at your own risk" restaurant. Dirty ,expensive ,plates broken ,chairs broken ,even a dog got inside when we were there. We ordered 2 taco plates and 2 enchilada plates - $50.00- next day we all got sick.I will never go and eat at that restaurant again
Recently updated/renovated. Food is alright, but service is lacking. Went there more than once, when it was busy and when it wasn't. Being there when the restaurant was nearly empty is not any better than when its busy. Service was still slow. Took waitress 15-20 minutes just to come over and take our drink order, by then, we already wanted her to take our food order as well. I like their tortillas, very airy tasting, unlike any other restaurants in Kingsville. However, I am not sure if it is worth the wait. Even after taking our order, order will take a while to get to our table because the kitchen is slow as well. Often times, my friends and I will have gone through 3-4 different talking topics and still be waiting for food.
Food is definitely below par. I would also say that places generally named after their specialty should be good. But I did not like their tacos that much. Service is ok. Restaurant looks like part of it was added on, looks a little odd.
Their food is ok. Not anything excellent, but just...ok. Their breakfast burritos are not bad. Service is a little slow and food takes a long time coming out. Personally, I would not come here. Yes, I do tend to try restaurants more than once before I rate them, unless I get exceptionally bad service/food the first time around.
