Ok place to take your pet for inoculations or routine exams, but horrible for a real problem. Also, very much overpriced. I took my much loved Jack Russell mix in for them to examine her right eye, which was inflamed and obviously painful. Saw two different vets, on two different trips. Problem was diagnosed as 'dry eye'. During process, vet commented 'hmmm....she has mud in her nose'.....but did not remove it. I will cut to the chase and say that after 3 return visits, and $500.00 later, my dog was only getting worse. I removed the mud from her nose (a hard plug), followed all instructions given, and am now afraid my dog may lose her eye. I am an RN with 35 years in Cardiac Surgery, so I do know a thing or two about medicine. I have diagnosed my dog's problem as a severe sinus infection, likely caused by clogged nostril....right nostril, right eye. Dry eye my foot. Now the left eye is showing similar symptoms, so I know it has to be a sinus problem. I am furious. My dog needs a systemic antibiotic, not just the topical opthalmic ointment and artificial tears made for humans that was prescribed. I am in process of finding a vet who will practice good medicine and not just do superficial treatment in order to wring money out of a caring pet parent.

Dr.Shoe is a wonderful vet, very knowledgeable and kind. However the professionalism at that vets office is a mess. Depending on who is working there it can be a good day or a bad one with the techs. They seem to have no idea what they are doing, especially with nail trims, they cut our dogs nails down into the quick on all 10 nails, now I have a pup terrified of getting his nails trimmed.
