January 2012 my wife kim and I bought a camper from Campers Barn. We had been shopping and negotiating with several different dealers in our own area (Albany) and Campers Barn since October. In the end, all though it was much further away than the other dealers we decided to go with Campers Barn. Laura our sales person was awsome to deal with, she was consistant in the information that she gave us, very friendly, and not pushy. John Paul, Laura's sale manager was also very friendly and flexible during the negotiating process.
I would also like to mention Rodney in Finance, he was very pleasant, professional, and made us feel very comfortable. Last I would like to mention Terry. My wife met Terry at our camp so he could pick up our old trailer. She said he was very nice and knowledgable. I'm going to be totally honest with you, normaly I don't enjoy dealing with sales people, but in this case, with these people it was a pleasure doing bussiness.

my husband got an idea for us to buy a camper and take the kids camping..... boy, he did a great thing!
we checked out a few places and decided to purchase from campers barn in kingston. our sales man, chris who is now fondly called Camping Chris, sold us both our first and second campers. (we only bought the second one because my husband loved the new model). Chris took a lot of time and patience to explain the features of the campers and also gave us great camping tips. the store has everything you need to camp and the showroom has one great model after another, so it was hard to choose. . but with chris, we were not rushed or treated like a number. i would recommend buying from him at campers barn, he asks what you need and he makes it happen!

This GIANT dealership in the NY Hudson Valley was literally a one stop shop for me and my family on a recent trip. We needed service on our Fifth Wheel, and Chris, Gary and the gang all helped us get it done, right, and back on the road. I would highly recommend this RV Dealer to anyone! Great atmosphere, and wonderful Customer Service! Five Stars!
Thank you. Our main goal here at Campers' Barn is to deliver the finest quality service to our customers. Especially when one has an on the road emergency. Please stop by and visit whenever you are in the area and shop our RV superstore, get Service done if needed, see our inventory of new RV's or just to say hello.
Do not use Campers Barn for any service. They do very shoddy work and are fraudulent in what they charge. If you must use them don't pay your bill until you have reviewed everything that they are billing you for with the service manager. Don't believe their estimates unless they prove to you up front that what they are proposing makes sense. Also don't fall for their roof seal deal. It is way overpriced and any body with the ability to climb up on the roof could do a better job for a fraction of the cost. Beware of Campers Barn, you have been warned.
First on behalf of Campers' Barn I would like to apologize for your previous experiences with the dealership and the service dept. As of Nov 2011, we have a new Service manager, Chris Byron. Chris was recruited for his knowledge, his over 20 yrs of experience in the RV service business, but most of all, his professionalism and his dedication to the customer. I am fairly new to the business, but an RV owner for over 17 years. I own a 5th wheel and know my way around an RV somewhat, and would feel very comfotable listening to Chris's opinion on my unit. Since Chris has started here at Campers Barn, I can personally say I have seen a positive change and a right direction for the Service dept. Service is not the only change that was made. There have been promotions to make the management team even better to include myself, as the Internet Manager. As an RV owner, I do believe Campers' Barn is headed in the right direction. Please give us a chance to prove us/me right. Stop by, see the difference, mention me, "campingchris" to the Service Manager and he will do a FREE full inspection and dewinterize of your unit to have you ready for the camping season. Thank you for your consideration.

First I would never bring my RV back to Campers Barn for anything. There workmanship is poor and they charge for things they don't do. If you have to use them don't pay your bill until you completely go over what was done. You must do this with the service manager present. My experience with them was that they overcharged and the workmanship was shoddy at best. There description of what they did was deceptive. They made up what was needed to inflate the bill. Again don't use them if at all possible. If you do you will find out what I mean. I also fell for their roof seal deal. It was very expensive and any one that could get on the roof of your RV could do a better job for less. They also replaced a sealer around the front in the fall and it is already coming out. Even if it was covered by their warranty I would not bring it back to them. They are that bad.
