Always loved this nail salon. Awesome work with wonderful customer service! Definitely recommend!
I have been goin here for 10 years or longer! They have always done a excellent job and been really nice! I suggest going there to anyone! Great prices and great people!
They are very very sweet people! However, I went in for a simple French manicure and I'm very disappointed with the results. My nails all ended up being extremely different sizes, the acrylic was not applied correctly, so my nails look lumpy! I also had a hair in my nail that they simply tried to paint over and tell me there was no hair. If I'm paying for it, I'd really like for a higher quality result.
I went there to get my nails done for prom and they did a fantastic job, but the next day my nails were chipping so I went in to get them redone. They have a sign posted that they have a 3 day guarantee, but when I went in and told the guy in charge he said ok. However, he apparently did not inform the one who was supposed to do my nails and so he did a full manicure on me. He then expected me to pay for it and told me it was my fault because I had not told him the reason I was there. He was very rude about it and so I paid just so I could leave. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
They were really nice, and they did a good job, BUT, they advertise their shellac for $18, and when I went to check out they charged me $25. I asked why and they said that if they feel a manicuer needs to be done, they go ahead and do it because the shellac stays on better. They never asked me if I wanted a manicure, or even told me that's what they were doing. And it wasn't a full manicure, they oiled my cuticles, pushed them back, and trimmed them. Then entire process, 'manicure' and shellac took 20 minutes if that tells you how long their manicure took. I was extremely disappointed, and even though their prices are good, and they probably wouldn't pull that again, (and I would know to watch for it), I won't be back. And I'm telling everyone that has their nails done about their business practices. They did the same thing to my friend, so apparently this is common for them.
I would not go here. I took my Fiance here and they did a terrible job!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. They burnt her nails and cut her hand. You could see where the old nail was and didnt take all the nail polish off.
Absolutely the best nail salon in this area. They have the best gel nails!!!
Being from California to say i have been to a few Vietnamese Nail Salons would be an understatement. Upon my arrival to Kingsport, Tennessee i was hoping to be able to find a Nail Salon where i could fill at home, and receive a quality service for a good price. After trying a few particularly USA Nails and ALL Star Nails i had began to lose hope that i will be able to receive the treatment i had received back home. That was until i found Tammy Nails. They are hidden beside American Lighting, but once you find it you will be impressed. I don't go nearly as much as I'd like to..but they deserve all the business they can get!!The downside (if you could call it that) is: if you go during a busy time, prepare to wait, because they don't rush through anyone's pedi. But the upside of that is, they certainly won't rush through yours either, even if the line's out the door or they are technically closed!Van and Tammy are my favorites-- they are both very skilled at what they do and very friendly. When I go they always greet me and surprisingly remember my name which usurped what i am used to. I love them!!! I hope they keep the prices low so I can keep tipping them BIG because they deserve it
