If I could rank them any lower I would. I set up a appointment for new installation on I Wednesday night between 5-7 . I called during the day and confirmed appointment but and no one showed up. I called thethem and the service guy called be back and said appointment was rescheduled. The next day I called them and they had no idea way no one showed . They were apologetic and asked me if they could home on Friday between 12-2. I confirmed appointment on Thursday and guess what Friday came and they never showed up , so I called and I was advised he would be there by 2:30.....they did not show up
Started central air system in our home and realized there was something wrong. Our "normal" service company since went out of business so we called Flynn Air as a local resource. They said that they had a service person IN THE AREA and could send them over to look at the unit. The service man was in the attic for no more than 10 minutes and said that we needed a new motor for our air handler. He said it would cost approx $700-800 and he wrote up a ticket for the visit. $70 for labor PLUS $99 TRAVEL TIME! My husband questioned this item and the service man said that this would not be charged again when they come back to fix the unit. Being in a predicament, he paid the man.
A few hours later, my husband received a call from Flynn Air saying the unit would cost more like $1800 PLUS LABOR! This would amount to over $2K...much more than the original estimate.
We proceeded to call other air conditioner companies and had the job done for $1500 ALL IN.
After calling Flynn Air that we felt the travel charge was not fair considering they had a service person in the area and they were not hired to do the work we asked for a refund. The only person I have been able to speak with in their office has been Monica. She says she speaks with the owner Bob and he says that this is a "normal fee" but again I can not get through to Bob to ask for the credit. Monica also said to me "We have to make a living so we can not refund the travel charge". I understand needing to make a living but already paying the service person $70 for 10 min of their time PLUS $99 travel fee is completely unfair.
Our experience with this company has led me to write this review in warning other potential customers that they are OVERPRICED and not fair in looking out for the customers best interest.
This company was awesome. I called because i could not find a company who could convert my furnace from gas to propane. They were at my door with in 45 minutes to do the job. Derek was a master at his trade and had that conversion done in a a few hours. I had no heat in my house for 1 month and now its nice and warm. This is a great company. B. Pontecorvo
I set up an appointment to get an estimate on a new hot water heater. The appointment was set for Thursday at 5:30. I left work early in order to be home on time. 5:30 rolls by and no knock on the door or phone call. I decide to call the company the next day, hoping to vent a little and maybe get some sort of an explanation. I spoke to the secretary who apologized but said her boss was not in and did not know why he did not show for the appointment. I asked her to have him call me so we could discuss the matter and I still have not heard from him (a week later). I will never use this company and would never recommend them. This is not how you run a business...
They were unable to repair my air conditioner; however, I was still charged $375.00 dollars. 100 dollars traveling charge, even though I am located a few blocks away. 275 for their diagnosis. My doctor doesn't even charge that much for his diagnosis. Total rip off!

Charged us $1000 to repair a unit that was STILL UNDER WARRANTEE. Claimed they did not install it (they did, under their old ownership so they are obligated to service the contracts they bought, arent they?). Then the unit still does not work. We have been without central Air ALL SUMMER arguing with these people who now want $4000 more to fix it? We are going to small claims court at this point.
I called Flynn Aire for an appointment to repair my air conditioner and my appointment was scheduled for a Friday. My window of time for this appointment was between 2 and 4. After no one showed up by 4:30, I called the office to make sure that someone was still coming. I was told that they were backed up because everyone was getting concerned that it was going to be 95 degrees the next day (as was my concern, but I had a scheduled appointment). No one showed up on Friday. I called the office numerous times on Saturday morning to see if anyone would show up, left a message, no response. Not only did I not receive a response over the hot weekend, I never received a call on Monday morning in response to the message that I left.
Very unprofessional and I will never call this company again.
