General Info: Desert Construction has been the premier supplier of ready mix, paving, sand and rock products for over 50 years in Kingman, AZ. and Mohave County. Desert was started in the mid 60`s by two brothers, Ken and Virgil Short, with little more than "baling wire and chewing gum, but a clear vision. Since the 1960`s, Desert has grown from a hand full of employees to over 80, including some of the most experienced supervisors, drivers, and equipment operators in Mohave County. Although most of our customers are contractors, Government entities, and developers doing large commercial and residential projects, we still welcome and seek week-ender and do-it-yourself customers.
