        False Advertising

        Sonic Drive Ins advertise that one can purchase one Hamburger after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday nights and receive another one free. The last three times I have taken advantage of this offer, I have not received the free one - I have been charged a reduced price for the second one. The price of the burgers has increased more than once recently - yet I only receive credit for the old price on the free burger. Tonight I ordered 2 Mustard hamburgers - Regular price $4.98 + $.30 tax (or $2.49 each) - I was credited $1.20 and $.18, making the total charge $3.90. The advertised price should have been $2.49 + tax, NOT $3.60 + tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is DEFINITELY FALSE ADVERTISING! When I questiioned the Assistant Manager and other employees, I was told that "It is just the way the computer does it and we can't change it" - I'm not buying that since I know that a computer programmer can make that change.
