Great place to take your vehicle, RV, small engines! They have very reasonable prices and they get you in and out as quick as possible!!! Family owned and operated!

Incompetent, dishonest, and dismissive. I brought my car in for an oil change on 6-20-17. The following morning my check engine light came on during my commute to work, and later that day while running an errand it began to emit a burning odor. I discovered a bone-dry dipstick and a massive oil leak. Added some oil and took it back to the shop where they proceeded to B.S. me about it being fine and only being a quart and a half low. At no time did they actually get under the car. When I said that was odd since it had been empty even before I added a quart the guy had the nerve to tell me that the dipstick doesn't go all the way to the bottom and that it was normal. Thankfully I live only a mile away where I found oil to STILL be leaking, and I had to bail out on going to Austin, missing my son's birthday. I had to take today off to go to another repair shop where they found that the gasket in the filter was damaged and the cap that fits over the spring was missing. As a result I am looking at a $285 repair bill because they have to get into the engine to remove the filter housing, 2 days of missed work and no vehicle.
I contact Mayo and the owner will not speak to me. He only relayed through office staff that if I took it elsewhere he won't reimburse me. Apparently he thinks I'm stupid enough to let them touch my car again. I'd rather not sue, but I will be pursuing legal action re: mechanic induced malfunction/damage. So yeah, if I could give less stars I would. Friggin' A-holes!

Insisted on charging me a $98 diagnostic fee even when I told them I thought it was something to do with the battery cables. The owner told me I probably had a bad alternator and a bunch of other baloney. He then proceeded to tell me they were professionals in their field just like doctors and that they had fees and processes to go through just like doctors. Really???????!!!!!!!!!!!!! Below is a pic of my (corroded) battery cable end that was losing connection and causing me to completely lose power. I realize that people need to be paid for their time and labor and that my car happens to be a pain in the rear to take things off just to get to the battery and that's okay. But to initially tell me that I have to pay a $98 diagnostic fee plus everything else it would take to replace the corroded cable end is absolutely absurd and is a complete Rip-Off!! I will never (ever) go back to this place. The owner was a rude, unprofessional A$$!!

Clean place, all the staff was courteous and polite, if you're waiting the mechanic comes out periodically to let you know how the work is going. Giancarlo was awesome and takes great care of customers. They have very high prices, and unfortunately my car is still having issues. I went in to have my brakes bled, my brakes are still spongy and the cost in doing so was $300. They did welcome me to come back if I'm not satisfied, but unfortunately I live out of town and don't have the time.

They were charging me 15 dollars for basically taking my tier off and putting it back on, I tried talking to the manager and he was understanding, I say one cuss word and he got in my face yelling, a manager should never do that to a customer, doesn't matter how I was talking, personally I would not go here.


I love this place...great group of guys who know their stuff and fair with prices. I am a loyal customer. Haved recommended them to friends who love this shop as well...thanx Mayo for the great work you do. P.s I was not paid to write this review...just a person who values good work and ethics




Let me start out by saying I wish it could be no stars. I would never ever bring any of our vehicles to this place again even if it was the last place on earth. We brought our truck over to Mayo's and told them what was wrong with it. Which was the rear end. We knew it was the spider gears, because we had taken our rear differential apart ourselves, but could not fix it. After 3 days they finally called and had the whole front end of our truck ripped up. With a tune of $3,000.00 bill to repair. We ask the mechanic if this was the cause of the loud pop sound that we were hearing from the back and he said yes. So after a long discussion about making sure this was the problem, we asked the mechanic again to look at the rear end. Sure enough it was the spider gears in the rear end, and days had passed. Matter of fact we had a rental truck for over six weeks while our truck was in the shop there. So after talking to the manager about what was taking so long, and why was the front end taken apart when the sheet clearly stated the rear differential spider gears need to be replace. The mechanic was fired. Then they gave us another mechanic, who then attempt to charges $3,800.00 to fix the rear differential, which took another couple of weeks of nothingness. After getting into a screaming match with the owner about what was taking so long. We finally had the truck towed out of there and sent to another shop who fixed for $2500.00 in a weeks time. I would never do business with this place again.
