I called several companies that offer emergency service on Sunday evening but none of them answered. I called Deane Electric and got the owner on his cell phone, explained the issue I was having, I asked a lot of questions and stated what the previous company did. John Deane is a master electrician/hvac tech so he knew exactly what the problem was, and answered all of my questions in a courteous manner. A tech was sent out and got there on time Monday morning, he was professional, and friendly and fixed the issue the first time. The compressor grounded out and burned up all the freon. They neutralized the acidic gas and cleaned the system before replacing the compressor and freon which the other companies did not offer to do. The rates are fair and THE PREVIOUS AC COMPANY installed a hard start kit, breaker kept tripping, they came out 3 or 4 times and said anymore issues and you need to call an electrician your breaker box on a 4 year old house is bad, and put a 40 amp breaker even though the unit says Max 30! I am very glad I called Deane Electric, they should be your first and last call.
My A/C started giving me issues on severe issues on Thursday. I called my warranty company who had a contractor come out. The contractor that came out did a terrible job and misdiagnosed the problem which I did not find out until today, Monday, after I hired Deanes Electric to come out.
I called everyone on google and in the yellowpages over the weekend to attempt to have them come out. No one would come or call me back.(even though they said they offered emergency services). Others would quote ridiculous prices over the phone. I am over 8 months pregnant and the home was over 94 degrees. The temp outside was 96 with a heat index of 105!
I got ahold of Mr John Deane on Sunday evening and explained the situation. He was polite, curteous, and professional over the phone. He came out today and again was very professional and exceedingly knowledgable.
He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it and when I had questions he gave me answers in terms that I understood since I have no background in how an A/C unit works.
He did not nickel and dime me for everything he did and after he left he made sure to call me back to make sure the house was cooling down properly. I am very impressed with this company. They seem to genuinely care about their customers. I am recommending them to everyone I know.
