My son which is two years old, was going there for little over two months and I will say his teachers does actually teach, read to them. Their seemed to be a issue of neglect or something going on within the staff. For example two teachers (not my sons) said a fellow teacher (my sons) was giving away my son food to other kids. The following day I pick up my son later in the evening I give him a bath and see that he has two bite marks on his back. I didn't receive any form of notice from the teachers nor the daycare. Both of these bite marks were both visible until the following day.
I first moved to the Killeen area in May of 2017. We were interested in Just for tots because it was close to my husband's job. I've, since, fallen in love with the staff. The owner gave me my initial tour, escorting me to all the rooms, introducing me to the potential caregivers, and showing my husband and me the curriculum for the classrooms. I have a 6 year old and two year old that began attending the center. My oldest started school and had to be moved to another daycare center. I'm reminded, very frequently, that she misses attending Just For Tots. Anytime that she can stop in and say hi to her prior caregivers, she does. With my youngest, she has thrived in the toddler environment. She comes home singing songs and surprises me with some of her vocabulary and her number and letter recognition. My child and I are greeted by all staff members we come across when I enter the building. We are also wished a good day/evening as I/we leave. I have openly expressed concerns with the staff in which they are quick to explain and or address if need be. I feel confident that my daughter receives the best care when she is in attendance. I would recommend this daycare to anyone in the area. Also, there are cameras everywhere that is monitored by the front desk staff. And unlike other facilities I've been to, they actually save the video and will review, if necessary.
First I ran a small business for more then 2 years and I only compaining when things are not right! My son is 10 months and we choose this daycare based off a recommendation of a friend. It was a mistake, our son fell twice in a row in two days. Now my son has two huge lumps on his head and the only solution the director gave was "its part of my son's walking development." Also they said we didn't secure him in a bounce or walker because and I quote, "we didn't want to confine him?" This daycare is understaff and does not put safety first when dealing with your kids. They are more worried about your weekly payment then your children. Their was many times my kid come home with different clothes and pacifiers from other kids. They sell you a great story at first, "we will teach your kids spanish and sigh language" Its a gimmick! You can tell that they only about profits because their are only at their best when inspection time rolls around. For example, My wife and I can notice a cleanest difference when it is not inspection time. This is a run of a mill place of business.
Ms. Wanda Diaz is such an amazing woman and teacher! I'm a high school teacher and I have been teaching for 9 years and I have absolutely no complaints she takes such good care of her students and especially my son Donovan who has been diagnosed with Autism. He also has severe eczema and tons of food allergies. I have never had to make a complaint. She basically potty trained my son. He went from never wanting to go in front of people to going when the class goes and going at home when told. He has even started going without being told. I'm so grateful to God for her! Love you- Destiny Cilumba
Today was bitter sweet for the boys. They spent their last day at after-school/summer daycare. They have made so many friends over the years and the teachers have been awesome. The teachers always said they loved getting their daily hugs from the "twins". All were sad to see them walk out today. It was time. Creative Child Learning Arts Academy... thank you for caring, loving, and teaching our boys.
This daycare is absolutely amazing! If you had a problem in the past with them I highly recommend going back and reevaluating because they have changed. They have a new staff upfront that is always smiling and greeting anyone who walks in the front door. They are very friendly and understanding if there is an issue. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and they care for the kids. Some of the teachers in different classes I do not know but they know my kids by name. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a daycare you choose this one!
This daycare has changed very much over the past couple of years! My older daughter has been going here 2 years and I have never had a bad experience. The front office is very professional and welcoming the minute you walk into the door. The teachers are all very kind and caring.
They took our daughter when others wouldn't because she has developmental delay. They were all very caring and our daughter made a lot of progress while she was there. I recommend this place anytime.
My granddaughter first attended this center 2014 when she was one years old. They are very flexible with my son's summer arrangements. I have always trusted them and felt she is safe there. We have had no problems and will continue to enroll her every summer. I highly recommend this child care. The teachers and staff are very caring and attentive.
Both of my daughters have been going here to progress through 4 classrooms ! I have never had an issue with any of the teachers. The front office is always understanding if something comes up or if I need help with something. The daycare always finds a way to keep the families of the kids involved. If you are considering a daycare for your baby, I highly recommend this one!
