Had a wonderful experience at Niles. Dylan Pinder helped me find and purchase the most beautiful car for my budget. I didn't feel like I got the typical run around you usually experience when buying a car. I went home with something more beautiful than I would have thought I could afford the very same day we started shopping. I'm very pleased with how they do their business and will be returning. 5 stars!
Shysters ! I bought a new Nissan 370Z from Niles Key West in December 2015. I live overseas and the car was stored at my Florida Keys home 2 weeks after purchase, my having hardly driven nor explored its features. On my return to Florida this year I decided to subscribe to the Sirius XM radio service, with which the car was described, both by the Windshield notice and by the sales guy as being equipped. I was not able to actuate the feature, so returned to Niles for assistance. After a very brief inspection I was told that this vehicle was never so equipped, and that I should have asked the salesguy to demonstrate it. They would "gladly" ha-ha take the car as a trade-in against another model with this feature. On my request that they should replace the radio ( a trivial task, just a slip-in fitting, with the new unit Retail only a couple of hundred dollars) they insisted that there were no grounds to justify such a "major" task and they could not authorise it. Well, that's how to destroy customer goodwill, and ensure that not only will I not entrust my car's servicing to them but also that I will never buy another ($46,000) car from them nor recommend them to any of my acquaintances.
These guys are among the worst of all time for service, and rip off artists to deal with on a lease. I leased a 2014 Cadillac SRX from them and the service department has been horrible. At times they have even discouraged me from oil changes when going on long trips even when Cadillac was telling me it was time for it. I had numerous problems with electronic tech in the car due to a leak from a manufacturing defect. After breaking down over 1000 miles from home due to Niles' inept service department's incorrect assessment of the problem, I was forced to go to another dealership's service who determined what the problem was and fixed it. That dealership could not believe that Niles had charged me. Miller in Ellicott City MD got all parts and labor free for me from Cadillac. It is what Niles should have done for me in the first place. If you live in the Keys, go to a Miami dealership. It will save you a lot of grief.
Awful service I would never go back
I have brought my 2010 Tundra here several times for oil change service and warrantee service. They never do a quality job and the customer service is horrible. They fail to order parts, they broke the door cover when replacing my cabin air filter and then left the broken parts in the glove box and said nothing, they left grease on my leather seats, and when they have changed my oil it takes all day. I now do all my work myself. It's just not worth the hassle of this dealers service or lack thereof. I know of a friend that had their tundra oil change done here as well and the dealer left her skid plate off and never put it back on. When confronted about it they denied it was they're fault and refused to fix their mistake. Do not take your vehicles here for service!
these people are crooks. after buying my car there, the next day my whole console lit up.I drove 30 miles back & after 4 hours of the run around they told me they would fix it,if it was cheap enough. they had me come back 3 more times & wait 5 hours each time till the 4th time they did it & charged me! they also did a break inspection & told me everything was ok. didn't trust them,so went to Sears. 1500$ worth of immediate repairs. breaks, rotors, & tie rods were shot. Niles are liars, thieves, & dangerous.
I had my car towed to Niles because I genuinely trust GM dealers. Was I ever wrong. Not only do they over charge (watch out if you are a woman), they lack attention to detail and are extremely rude. The mechanic didn't even bother to pop back on my ignition face plate. He chose to leave it in my center console. Also, they wrapped my AUX cord behind my AC and radio controls. Not only that, but now my AC button turns on/off while I'm driving. I took it back in to alert the service team of these issues and the mechanic rudely told me that my car is old and that he replaces that part of the AC "all the time". I told him that it was running just fine prior to bringing my car to Niles and he just walked away. Seriously? Then his manager said that he would have only gone through my ignition to fix what was wrong withy car. When I showed him the AUX cord issue, he had no explanation for how that could have happened. Unacceptable. Clearly they removed it, but won't fix what they broke. Niles service should be ashamed of themselves. Good luck to whomever have the misfortune of going there. The "extra mile" seems to equal expensive, mediocre service with an attitude. I will never go back.
I bought a brand new car from here about a year and a half ago. I've been dealing with the same transmission issues since July.... I've even had the jeep service representative yelling at my boyfriend and myself when we informed him that a transmission should not be redlining at 40/50 mph. I have now been waiting since December 11th to get my transmission looked at again as well as my oil change. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from here again!
3 new vehicles from this dealer in key west for my business and even under warranty I'm am completely disgusted with there service department. No call, no communication, no help, not one repair completed or fixed right. The only reason there still open is there the Chevy dealer within 100 miles.
