The experience with the manner in which my 8 y.o.'s molar was pulled was quite traumatizing for my child, me, and my mother (who worked in dental for years, herself). I truly thought "Pediatric" would mean "knowing the comfort of children and making sure they are cared for in the best and most gentle manner". What we saw was not only barbaric, it left me emotional for my little one and scared for other children and I made a post regarding how awful an experience we had. When a dental patient, of any age, says "stop", you should stop! My child yelled, "can we stop?! Can I take a break?!" And you did not stop to check his comfort. You kept going and my child was screaming and yelling and crying as you pulled away at his molar, that was NOT "nearing ready to come out" as we were told. It was very deep rooted and the tooth next to it came out with it, unplanned, as the roots were so big.
I definitely take back my rating and I DO NOT suggest this dentist! I will remove both my kids and bring them back south to the gentle pediatric dentists who care for kids.
One star is being generous.

My daughter had a dental emergency on a weekend. Dr Linsenmeyer was so quick to get to the office and help her. I am so grateful for her help on a weekend!

I could not recommend SE Pediatric Dentistry more. Yes, there were small issues (personality) with the office Manager, however, Dr. Kristi was quick to answer my questions and resolve my issues. I have had terrible experiences with taking my children to a Family Dentist, and NOW I know why! SE Pediatric Dentistry is designed and specially equipped to treat children of all ages, not to mention she is a Pediatric Dentist with many years of specialized experience. When treatment was needed for my 6 year old, Dr. Kristi was kind, gentle, and most importantly, patient. I wish there were 10 stars to give, it's well deserved!

I do not recommend Southeast Pediatric Dentistry! Last yr. my daughter went here and was told that she had a few cavities and needed caps. Doc L insisted we have it done at the hospital with anesthesia. 2 caps turned into 7 and she did not get approval!
Then came the huge bill! I talked to the billing person and was told that if I made small payments it would be ok. I made my first payment and then 5 days later they sued me! I had a family emergency and had to leave the state and found out that was why they sued me!! 5 days after getting my payment! I called the billing person- who was profoundly unprofessional and she would not work with me with payments and would not drop the lawsuit.

Furthermore...the only needed cap failed and now she is going to have to have a tooth removed!

I do not recommend Southeast Pediatric Dentistry of Ketchikan!
