Very Poor! Cheat! Liars!

Lincoln M&S calculate their PRICE QUOTE based off an ESTIMATE (Not a concrete objective measurement) from an individual who visits your house and gathers information such as the number boxes, furniture, etc estimated to be loaded onto their trucks. This information is then entered into their software program that calculates the estimated weight and the price quote, which is strictly based from the amount of weight ESTIMATED.

They then send you an email with the quote called a "binding quote," meaning once you agree to the pay the price and you actually had less weight (after they load and weigh the truck), you ARE NOT reimbursed the difference in price despite actually having less than estimated weight.

This "binding quote" allows the individual to generously OVERESTIMATE the weight of your shipment, knowing well that the price quote is "binding."

I'm not an expert, but I have moved twice from state to state, so I have a good idea of how much my belongings weigh (from using other legit moving companies). In my experience with Lincoln M&S, my estimated weight was about twice than expected and the "price quote" reflected that. [My mattress and spring box only were estimated to be 400 lb. - as if made out of cement]

These guys are scum, think twice.

I have used these guys 4 times for local moves over a period of about 5 years. The 3rd move was into storage and when talking with the movers I mentioned that I would be out of town for about a year, I didn't think nothing of it then it was just conversation. Because I was leaving town that evening I had a bunch of errands to run and had to leave them alone for about an hour or two. I had no reason to think anything was wrong until I got back and they moved me into my new place. My new Xbox360 turned up missing, they broke my treadmill and also the bolts to my dresser mirror mysteriously turned up missing. I know that it didnt happen on the last move cause I was with them the whole time. Even their own movers commented that the bolts were just supposed to be back into the holes for easy access and easy dresser assembly when the time comes. Because it was so conspicuous I have to assume they lost the bolts on purpose and also the damage to my treadmill appeared to be done intentionally or at best was the result of willful negligence. The Xbox didn't walk away by itself.

Their resolution process is all smoke and mirrors, they will waste a bunch of your time with forms and then after a month or so they send you a State of Washington pamphlet that says moves over 9 months old are not eligible for compensation. I am sure the movers knew this, as soon as I mentioned I was going to be gone for a year and I left them alone they went to work knowing that when I noticed it would be too late.

These guys are scum, I had grown to trust them but the minute I left them alone they ripped me off and broke my things. I even bought them lunch that day! Kind of leaves me feeling like a fool. I guess I was, don't make the same mistake.

Good movers

We recently completed an in-town move with Lincoln Movers. They gave us a good quote (about the same as another moving company but using 2 trucks instead of 1, significantly lower than a 3rd company). The estimator was very helpful and gave some good tips.

Unfortunately, the communication between the estimator and the movers was not great. We were told that they would bring wardrobe boxes, so we did not pack our hanging clothes, only to have the movers show up with no wardrobe boxes and have a last minute scramble to pack our closets. We are also told to leave our dressers with the clothes in them and they would be shrink wrapped. The movers did use pads, but no shrink wrap and were not pleased at all by the fact that our dressers were full.

On the good side, they were on time (allowing for traffic), they were fun guys. They were VERY careful with our belongings. They were very careful with our new home - they did not use a hand truck on the stairs and instead carried boxes one by one up the stairs because the lead mover said that he was worried that a hand truck would damage our stairs.

They did run over estimate (8.25 hours instead of 7 hours), and took quite a few unofficial breaks (though not nearly as many as I would have had to take, if we had tried to move ourselves!!!), but it was not a big deal. They worked hard during our move. We would definitely use them again.

I have used many moving companies over the past several years. Lincoln Moving and Storage employee's were both professional and courteous and showed they cared about my personal belongings. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move in the future. Thanks Lincoln.

Great Move! These guys were fabulous!

I was phenomenally impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency of the movers. These guys were truly magnificent, especially Adren and Nick. Things started off in the right direction when I discussed my move with Brandy, the move scheduler. She was terrific. And then I worked closely with salesman Mark and coordinator Kim. They were all so very helpful and calming. I couldn't believe how easily it all came together.

I would gladly recommend this company to anyone thinking of moving in the future.

Awesome Service

I would like to start by saying ""Thank you Lincoln Moving & Storage for your Awesome Service"". I have moved several times, and often thought at the end that it would have been easier to just do it myself. Then a friend referred me to Lincoln Moving & Storage, actually a couple friends.

But anyways, I would have to say it was the SMOOTHEST MOVE I have ever made. When the Sales Consultant came to my home, she brought alot of helpful moving information that I had never received from the other companies, and told me what to expect when the movers arrive. (I Thought we'll see) But the morning of my move, the movers were there on time (I was surprised), they were quick, and treated my home and belongings like it was their own. They had to have been the most organized movers I have ever seen before. The movers made a great team and worked together very nicely. I did however request a specific date for my delivery, and the staff explained that they need a spread of a couple days, and could not guarantee that specific date I chose, but would do their best to get it there within the spread I had given them. So, at that point I fugured this is where the great service goes down hill, been here and done this before. I was slightly discouraged. 2 days before the date I requested, the driver called to set delivery time, and I was very surprised that he was able to deliver on time and on the original date I requested. All of my shipment was delivered in great condition, and was set properly in my home. If I ever move again, I WILL ALWAY use Lincoln Moving & Storage as my mover of choice.

Straight up movers, Straight up quotes, Great all around service!

I moved here from the southwest about 8 years ago. A good friend of mine referred me to Lincoln. They had allot to handle as I was moving from a very large house to a smaller home here in Seattle. The movers were on time and there price estimate was just dollars from the actual bill. I moved once since then and found out they were locally as well. The two times I have move Lincoln did a great job and not to mention they stored some pretty large items at a great price. Their storage facility is amazing not only in size but security, not one of my items was scratched or damaged in anyway during the move or the two years of storage. Don't waste time looking around these guys do what they say.

I have used these guys 3 times. Best moving services I have ever seen!

I moved from California a few years back. The moving company I used damaged my furniture, lost boxes and they were late by 2 days. I have used Lincoln Moving and Storage 3 times in the best 10 years and every time they have done an awesome job. If you have to move, use these guys. They are great!
