I would give zero stars. Took to the shop a SONY CRT TV for repair 3.5 months ago. Next day, "the man" called and said the model number is needed since the name plate was faded. I gave the model number and serial number from my owner's manual.. After a few weeks with no news, I called and asked how the repair was progressing. The man said he is ordering parts and would obtain the repair manual. After a few more weeks, I called...the man had no news other than was waiting for parts. This went on for another month and another month. Finally, after 3.5 months with no news, I called and said I'm picking up my TV. I went to the shop today and said that I'll see if I can find a used circuit board on the Internet. The man said, "what is needed is the repair manual but I can't get the repair manual since the model is not known." I said, "hey man, I called 3.5 months ago and gave to you the model number." The man said you didn't call. I said I talked to you and gave the model number. Besides, if you lost the model number why didn't you call and ask me for the model number if you misplaced the information which I gave to you. Also, you said that you obtained the repair manual and was waiting for parts. In reality, the man did nothing for 3.5 months. I received no calls from the man during 3.5 months. When I called about six times, the man said that he is waiting for parts. In reality, the man did nothing during 3.5 months.
