This is the absolute worst delivery service I have ever used. I plan a lot of events for the company I work for and thus have used several different services, but never have I received such TERRIBLE customer service. I mean the representative made me feel like I should be grateful that she even answered my call. Avoid using this service, unless you like being treated like crap for ordering food.

Missing Orders via Qdoba

Service was on time and missing 4 of the 10 orders. We got no plastic ware, no plates, no napkins. When the final 4 orders arrived the driver went back to his vehicle and brought a paper table cloth, in lieu of napkins. ...WTH?



Takeout taxi got a monopoly on...

Takeout taxi got a monopoly on delivering services in Rockville and Bethesda and they sure use it. Be aware!!! Avoid using them, not only do they charge you a hefty fee for delivering, takes 1-2 hours to deliver from a restaurant that is literally down the street and force you in to a minimal order that is no feasible for one, but they also outright try to steal your money, by bulling you!

I have ordered food delivery services through An hour later Takeout Taxi who is their delivery partner, had called me and left me a message that my order will not be honored. I have called back to talk with the most rude female representative, who has told me that my order or any future orders will not be delivered till I pay an outstanding balance of $49 dollars. She also told me that in December of last year an order has been declined by me at this address. Not only have I never dealt with Takeout Taxi but I also did not live at this address at that time.

Since this was an obvious mistake I has asked to speak to a supervisor to be told that she is a supervisor, then I asked to talk to your owner or someone above her. She has transferred me to a person who has introduced himself as Jack Hansen the owner of the business. He has repeated the same story to me, and even though I tried to explain the situation would not listen to me. I was told that I need to pay the balance, to me offering to prepay the current order , I was told that that will not be sufficient.

I have said that I have no intention paying for their error, and that I never made this order - to which I was told that it is not his problem. Since they are the only delivery service in the city I cannot order delivery through anyone other then them. I have said that I will be forced to contact Better Business Bureau, and he told me I should do as I please.

Through out the whole conversation no one ever told me I was talking to Takeout Taxi, I assumed that it was denying me service. So after I hung up I called the number on the website I ordered from, just to be told that they have nothing to do with it, and they have no record of me ordering any delivery ever before.

I fell that Takeout Taxi has simply monopolized the local delivery market, and is taken advantage of the consumers. Most people would just pay $49 they never spent, assuming they forgot. However, I know for a fact that I never denied an order, or ever even used their services. This is simply a way for Takeout Taxi to make some extra money, by bulling the customer.
