Mayfair Rent-A-Car

I've rented from Mayfair twice this past summer and I will definitely be doing it again! The branch manager, Loni, is great, and is always very accommodating! Lowest prices around too!

Mayfair is my rental vendor of choice, the manager is one of the nicest and professionalist person there is, she takes pride in her work. Good rates and clean vehicles. Recommend highly

They had the cheapest price on Priceline/Hotwire/CarRentals.com, and it was a good deal. However, I was very disappointed by some of their policies. I have used rentals 6 times in the past year due to traveling for work and this is the first time I went with Mayfair. I don't have a credit card, only debit cards and they have a policy of a $250.00 hold ABOVE the total price of your rental and deposit. Plus they needed a copy of my current auto insurance, even though I purchased coverage through their company. And they needed a copy of my utility bill, which was okay by me. As well as a copy of my most recent paycheck stub. I feel that is pretty intrusive and seems a tad outrageous! Plus, because I don't have a credit card, they can't rent a SUV to me, but I was able to get a minivan. Which was fine, however that again makes no sense considering the total price of a minivan rental was higher than the SUV rental. I did insist that they give me the minivan for the SUV price, which they agreed upon, however this all seems a little overboard. The 5 previous times I've had a rental it was through Enterprise (one being out of state which had a hold policy for out of state drivers of $200 which INCLUDED your total price) and never have they asked for an utility bill, check stub, proof of insurance (as long as I purchased their coverage). This is nothing against the saleswoman, as she was very nice and helpful. Or against them giving me a Minivan instead of a SUV (even though that didn't make a whole lot of sense being they had 2 SUVs available, so it was purely because of the lack of credit card) However, maybe these policies should be looked at again as they seem a little overboard. I won't be renting from them again, even if they are the cheapest... Just because I choose not to own credit cards by my own preference, should mean I'm asked for everything but my first born child.

Mayfair Rent A Car is a great place to rent a car. Better than the other guys hands down. You never have to wait to get a car and if you reserve a car, you are guaranteed a car unlike other companies.

I have been renting cars for about 3 years from this location and I have to say they are very friendly and courteous. Now days you don't get that anywhere not even an old man like myself. It's a breath of fresh air to call them. They listen to your needs and take care of you through the whole rental process. They have newer vehicle so you don't have to worry about those nasty break downs in the winter! I rent from them even when I just want a car for the weekend just to see there smiling faces. I encourage you to use them for all your rental needs.

My family and I went on vacation last week and needed a mini van. I shopped around trying to find the best deal for the most comfortable van. Mayfair provided just that with a newer van with all the bells and whistles. My kids were able to keep occupied while they watched movies in the back and we all had plenty of room for luggage. The van was wonderful as was the service. I will be recommending Mayfair to all my friends and family.

WE NEEDED A 15-PASS VAN AND MAYFAIR RENT A CAR WAS THE ONLY ONE AROUND THAT HAD THAT SIZE OF VAN. THEIR SERVICE WAS GREAT AND WHILE I WAS AT THEIR OFFICE I FOUND OUT THEY ALSO RENT PENSKE MOVING TRUCKS. MAYFAIR IS A GREAT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH AND I WILL ALWAYS USE THEM!
