Founded in 1876 by a retired minister who wanted to help lumberjacks suffering from blisters and infections, Jockey International is a privately held company with more than 5,000 staff members worldwide. The company offers a range of men and women underwear under the Jockey and Y-Front brand names. It provides a selection of briefs, boxers, socks and T-shirts for men. Jockey International also offers thongs, panties and bikini-style underwear for women. The company supplies sport bras, tops, sleepwear and robes. Additionally, it provides a collection of hosiery products for children. Jockey International s other brands include Ultimates, 3-D Innovations and GO Tech Midway.
