NEVER GO TO AURORA, the emergency room doctors suck, you go in here with severe pain and vomiting, and get sent home the same way you came in. suffered for 4 days and went to Kenosha memorial hospital, they did 1 test (ultra sound) and admitted me and took out my inflamed gallbladder the next morning, when I went to talk to the AURORA emergency room doctor in charge of the emergency room and I showed him pictures of my gallbladder and asked him to take off my copayment off the emergency room bill since they did nothing for me and I suffered for another 4 days because they said nothing was wrong.Also the billing department is always putting the wrong codes on the sevices and get bills that I should not get and it takes 2 months of me and my insurance company trying to get this taken care of before they take it off.AND THE LAST STRAW is I had a CT scan and they wanted $125.00 in advance before they would do it and I gave them a check for $125.00 went to claim it with flexible spending and I was told by my insurance company that they paid 100% of the bill and AURORA OWES ME $125.00, I talked to Aurora and they had no idea what happed, the check was cashed and 3 months later I still have not seen my money, I just got my 3rd bank statement and it is not on there. THEY HAVE A PRETTY GOOD SCAM GOING ON AND IF IT WASN'T FOR ME HAVING FSA I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN, SO HOW MANY OF YOU OUT THERE ARE ALSO BEING SCAMMED??? PAY CLOSE ATTENTION BECAUSE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME
The hospital stay was quite comfortable and my doctors were the best BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU GET THE BILLING---> THEY WON'T GIVE YOU A BREAK AND THE BILLING OFFICE DID NOT WORK WITH ME AT ALL. THEY TOLD ME THAT IF MY INSURANCE DID NOT COVER SPECIFIC ISSUES, IT WAS MY PROBLEM. FOR THAT REASON, I WOULD AVOID THIS FACILITY . I sent a letter of complaint and they never answered me. WATCH OUT.
