This place is amazing,, n I'm rude n picky the staff was friendly, I can't say enough about the buffet!!!
Too expensive. If you want real mexican food this is not the place to go.
I absolutely love this place yes sometimes you have to wait awhile to be seated but that is because they are busy. Everytime I have been there there has never been an open seat and when one opens up it is filled with in 1 to 2 minutes. The place is clean and once you order the food is GREAT and there HOT and Fast. Also, the Killer Margaritas are awesome!!!!!!!!
The food is great. Tamales are to die for.
Ever heard of a Migada? Not Miyagi, as in Mr. Miyagi from the Karate Kid, but Migada! It's a grilled corn patty, sliced in half and filled with your choice of beef, pork, chorizo, asado, or chicken. At La Fe Cafe, they make their Migadas as they are ordered, so you are served a fresh, hot, and wonderfully tasty Migada. I ordered a pork Migada meal and boy was it a meal! The Migada was about 6 or 7 inches in diameter. The corn patty was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The pork filling was moderately spicy and oh so delicious! If the Migada wasn't enough, my meal also included a side of seasoned rice, refried beans, as well as lettuce and tomato. Based on my visit, the meal was fresh, rustic, and warmed-your-belly. The menu listed many other tempting dishes, which I will be trying over the course of my next several visits. If you appreciate authentic Mexican cooking, you must try this cafe.
My new food favorite -- the shrimp soup at La Fe!!!
Just had a FANTASTIC lunch at this new authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is outstanding! I had the chicken chimichanga which had tender shredded chicken and beans in a flakey crispy crust topped with sour cream and guacamole on the side. The atmosphere is very bright and cheery. The staff friendly and knowledgable. Prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back again. If you live anywhere between Milwaukee and Chicago, you should definitely check out this Mexican jewel in Kenosha.
